Sri Satyasai district is a proposed district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. With Puttaparthi as its administrative headquarters, it was proposed on 26 January 2022 to become one of the resultant twenty-six districts in the state once a final notification is issued by the government of Andhra Pradesh. The district would be formed from Dharmavaram, Penukonda revenue divisions and a newly formed Puttaparthy revenue division, with all three carved out of Anantapur district. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Administratve divisions

The district has four revenue divisions, namely Dharmavaram, Kadiri, Puttaparthy and Penukonda, each headed by a sub collector. These revenue divisions are divided into 32 mandals. The district consists of three municipalities. Hindupuram, Kadiri and Dharmavaram are the three municipalities.

Mandals

There are 12 mandals in Penukonda division, 6 mandals in Puttaparthy division and 7 mandals each in Dharmavaram and Kadiri divisions. The 32 mandals under their revenue divisions are listed below:

The district would be formed from Gurazala and Narasaraopet revenue divisions from Guntur district.
