It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 3, 1972, for its significance in architecture, art, religion, and social history. It was added as a contributing property of the James Street Commons Historic District on January 9, 1978.

It is noted for its historic parish church at 30 St Augustine Church Road in Grayson Springs. Built in 1854, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 7, 1989.
St. Mary's Catholic Church, Newport is a historic parish located in Newport, Charles County, Maryland, established in 1674. Several churches have been built on the property over its history. At present there are two churches remaining, one built in 1840, deconsecrated in 1906 and no longer used for religious services, and the current church building, built in 1954. The historic 1840 church is a rectangular brick structure, four bays in length and three bays wide. It is of simple architectural styling typical of the Greek Revival period in this locality. Located on the property is the parish cemetery, which includes the burial plot of the Brent-Merrick family, including congressman William Duhurst Merrick (1793–1857). It has several impressively scaled and ornamented monuments enclosed within a decorative mid-19th century wrought iron fence. Other memorial stones bear the signature of "A. Geddess," who founded the long-active Geddess monument firm of Baltimore in 1822.

The church is a brick, cross-shaped plan with a round apse. It was designed by Baltimore architect Maximilian Godefroy and built 1813–1816. It closely resembles Godefroy's earlier St. Mary's Seminary Chapel in Baltimore, another Sulpician church. St. Thomas is the oldest Roman Catholic church in Kentucky and considered "The Cradle of Catholicism in Kentucky."

St. Joseph's Catholic Church, also known as St. Joseph, Camp Springs and St. Joseph in the Hills, is a rural Roman Catholic parish near Camp Springs in Campbell County, Kentucky. The historic parish church and cemetery are located at 6833 Four Mile Road. The parochial school was located on the adjacent plot at 6829 Four Mile Road. It remains an active parish in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Covington, and its cemetery is still open for the burial of parish members.

The former St. Anthony's Catholic Church is a redbrick historic Roman Catholic steepled church complex located at 2222-2238 West Market Street in Louisville, Kentucky. Designed by noted local architect William H. Redin in the Gothic Revival style of architecture, it was built in 1887. After a disastrous fire on January 26, 1939 which caused extensive damage to all buildings in the complex except the rectory to the left of the church, architect Walter C. Wagner, Sr. designed the reconstruction of the complex which was done by Skilton and Sullivan Construction Company.
Holy Cross Church and School Complex—Latonia is a historic church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Covington at 3612 Church Street in Covington, Kentucky. The campus straddles Church Street with the sanctuary and rectory on the east side and elementary school, high school and convent on the west. The church was constructed between 1906 and 1908 with the elementary school added in 1914, rectory in 1924, the high school in 1930 and the convent in 1941. The complex was added to the National Register in 1986.
