TotalEnergies Gas & Power is a business energy provider in the UK. A wholly owned subsidiary of French Oil Supermajor TotalEnergies. [1] It is the largest industrial and commercial natural gas supplier in the UK. [2]
Formed during the deregulation of the business gas market in 1987 as AGAS Limited, it is the first independent supplier of gas to the UK market. In 1996 the company became a wholly owned subsidiary of Elf Aquitaine and changed its name to Elf Business Energy in 1999. When the parent group Elf Aquitaine merged with Total Fina to become TotalFinaElf in 2000 the company name was changed to TotalFinaElf Gas and Power Limited. In 2003 the company name was changed to Total Gas & Power Limited as part of the global rebranding of the Total Group.[ citation needed ]

Antar is a former French petroleum company, founded by Pechelbronn SAEM in 1927 in Merkwiller-Pechelbronn, Bas-Rhin, Alsace. However, its origins go back to 1745 when a company was formed to develop the natural oil wells in the vicinity of Merkwiller-Pechelbronn. Prior to World War II it also used the brand Socaline for petrol. Bristol Energy was a municipally owned energy supply company, founded in September 2015 by Bristol City Council. Its business accounts were sold to Yü Energy in August 2020, and in the following month its residential accounts were sold to Together Energy. In October 2020, F&S Energy purchased Bristol Energy's renewable energy generator portfolio, along with its commercial feed-in tariff customers.
