Transeuropa was a charter airline from Spain that operated from 1965 until 1982.
Trans-Europa Companía de Aviación SA was founded in July 1965 and began operations two months later using a single Douglas DC-7 for ad hoc charters, both passenger and freight, from its base at Palma de Mallorca. Later, it purchased DC-4s for freighter operations. It was during 1969 that the SE 210 Caravelle was introduced into the fleet.
An economic recession in 1979 led to a fall in charter demand and the airline was purchased by the Spanish government, through the Instituto Nacional de Industria (INI), the National Institute of Industry, and took delivery of six Fokker 27 for short haul operations on behalf of Iberia and Aviaco. By this time, with the increase in the price of aviation fuel and the Caravelle aircraft becoming obsolete there was a need to modernize the fleet. However, the fleet could not be modernized owing to lack of capital. By the beginning of 1982 TransEuropa ceased operations and most of its assets were taken over by Aviaco. [1]
Trans-Europa's Caravelles were used to fly tourists from different locations in Europe to Spain, mainly Palma de Mallorca. As tourism grew Transeuropa stopped its freight operations, most of which had been carried out on behalf of Iberia using its Caravelle 11R combi aircraft.
Transeuropa also served the Canary Islands, Morocco and Tunisia, mostly from Germany. In 1976, six Caravelle 10Rs were being operated.

The Sud Aviation SE 210 Caravelle is a French jet airliner produced by Sud Aviation. It was developed by SNCASE in the early 1950s and made its maiden flight on 27 May 1955. It included some de Havilland designs and components developed for the de Havilland Comet. SNCASE merged into the larger Sud Aviation conglomerate before the aircraft entered revenue service on 26 April 1959 with Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS); 282 were built until production ended in 1972. It was ordered by airlines on every continent and operated until its retirement in 2005.
Empresa Ecuatoriana de Aviación, more commonly known as simply Ecuatoriana, was the national airline of Ecuador. The carrier had an operational hiatus between September 1993 and August 1995, resuming operations on 23 June 1996, after VASP became the controlling shareholder. The airline folded permanently in 2006.

Orbest Orizonia Airlines, S.A., formerly Iberworld Airlines, S.A., was an airline with its head office in the Edificio Orizionia Corporación in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. It operated regular and charter flights to destinations in Europe and the Caribbean, scheduled domestic services, and scheduled international services to Havana. In its 14-year history, Orbest Orizonia flew to four continents and operated routes to over 30 countries. Its main base was Palma de Mallorca Airport. Orbest Orizonia was the air division of the Orizonia Group, Spain's third largest tour operator.
