The All-Ukrainian Union "Fatherland", often referred to as Batkivshchyna, is a political party in Ukraine led by People's Deputy of Ukraine, Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko. The Admiral Gorshkov class, Russian designation Project 22350 for the original and upgraded version armed with 16 and 32 VLS cells respectively, is the newest class of frigates being built by the Severnaya Verf in Saint Petersburg for the Russian Navy. The Project 22350 was designed by the Severnoye Design Bureau and incorporates use of stealth technology. As of August 2020, ten vessels have been contracted for delivery by 2027. The lead ship of the class, Admiral Gorshkov, was commissioned on 28 July 2018.
The Admiral Grigorovich class, also referred to as Krivak IV class, Russian designation Project 11356Р/М, is a class of frigates built by the Yantar Shipyard in Kaliningrad for the Russian Navy and Indian Navy. Based on the Talwar class, six ships were ordered for the Russian Black Sea Fleet under two contracts in 2010 and 2011 as a complement to the Admiral Gorshkov-class frigates.
The All-Russia People's Front, is a political coalition in Russia started in 2011 by then-Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin to provide United Russia with "new ideas, new suggestions and new faces". Sevastopol radar station was a Soviet radar station providing early warning of ballistic missile attack. It is located between the Cape of Chersones and the auxiliary airfield "Chersones" in Sevastopol and was part of the Soviet missile attack warning system. Information from this station could be used for a launch on warning nuclear missile attack or to engage the A-135 anti-ballistic missile system.

Igor Venediktovich Plotnitsky is a former separatist leader and former head of the unrecognised self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic, in eastern Ukraine. He was born 26 June 1964 either in Luhansk or in the town of Kelmentsi, Chernivtsi Oblast. Plotnitsky himself did not issue a public statement on 24 November 2017, but on that day a Luhansk People's Republic website claimed he had resigned as their president. On 25 November the 38-member People's Council of the self-proclaimed state unanimously approved Plotnitsky's resignation.
Snap elections to the Ukrainian parliament were held on 21 July 2019. Originally scheduled to be held at the end of October, these elections were brought forward after newly inaugurated President Volodymyr Zelensky dissolved parliament on 21 May 2019, during his inauguration. The election result was the one-party majority, a novelty in Ukraine, for President Zelensky's Servant of the People party with 254 seats.
