The Fairlie–Poplar Historic District is part of the central business district in downtown Atlanta. It is named for the two streets that cross at its center, northeast-only Fairlie and southeast-only Poplar. Fairlie–Poplar is immediately north of Five Points, the definitive centerpoint and longtime commercial heart of Atlanta. It is roughly bounded on the southwest by Marietta Street, on the southeast by Peachtree Street or Park Place, on the northeast by Luckie Street or Williams Street, and on the northwest by Cone Street or Spring Street. It has smaller city blocks than the rest of the city, and the streets run at a 40° diagonal.
Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt is Canada's Pacific Coast naval base and home port to Maritime Forces Pacific and Joint Task Force Pacific Headquarters. As of 2018, 4,411 military personnel and 2,762 civilians work at CFB Esquimalt.

Main Street Market Square Historic District is a historic district in Houston that includes the Market Square Park. It includes buildings nearby, as well as the square itself. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
John W. Ross (1848–1914) was the first licensed architect in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He designed many buildings in eastern North Dakota, including the 1901 Gothic revival St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Warsaw and the Larimore City Hall, which was built in 1890.
J.S. Schroeder Building is a historic commercial building located at 111 North Walnut Street in the Downtown Historic District of Peabody, Kansas, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) on December 6, 1991.
The Union Block on Main St. W. in Mayville, North Dakota was built in 1900. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1985.
Frederick Albert Hale was an American architect who practiced in states including Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. According to a 1977 NRHP nomination for the Keith-O'Brien Building in Salt Lake City, "Hale worked mostly in the classical styles and seemed equally adept at Beaux-Arts Classicism, Neo-Classical Revival or Georgian Revival." He also employed Shingle and Queen Anne styles for several residential structures. A number of his works are listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
The J. W. Danner House is a historic house located at 408 N. Fourth St. in Sayre, Oklahoma. J. W. Danner, one of the first landowners in Sayre, built the house for himself circa 1905; it is one of the city's oldest buildings. Danner built the house using triangular concrete blocks made from a block machine, a previously unseen construction style. He later used his home as a model for several other triangular block buildings in Sayre, giving the city a locally distinctive building style.
The Waxhaw Historic District is a national historic district located at Waxhaw, Union County, North Carolina. It encompasses 93 contributing buildings, 3 contributing structures, and 1 contributing object in the central business district and surrounding residential sections of Waxhaw. The district developed between about 1888 and 1940 and includes notable examples of Commercial Style, Queen Anne, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture. Notable buildings include the former Post Office (1905), Harris's store, Tyson Store, A.W. Heath Co. Mill (1905), R.J. Belk Company Store, A.W. Heath Company Stores, Weir Building, Plyler Building, Farmer's Ginning & Trading Company, McDonald Hotel (1912), Waxhaw Presbyterian Church (1929), Duncan McDonald House, and Ralph J. Belk House.
The Woodmen of Union Building is a historic commercial building at 501 Malvern Avenue in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It is a four-story structure, built mainly out of brick and ceramic blocks, although its southeastern section has upper levels with wood framing and finishing. Its main facade has an elaborate projecting entrance portico, with the entrance set in an elliptical-arch opening supported by fluted pilasters. The interior retains significant original features, including a bank vault, marble wainscoting, and a 2,500 seat auditorium. It was built in 1923-24 for the Supreme Lodge of the Woodmen of Union, an African-American social organization, which operated it as a multifunction bathhouse, hotel, hospital, bank, and performance venue. It was purchased in 1950 by the National Baptist Association.
The Grinnell Historic Commercial District is a nationally recognized historic district located in Grinnell, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. At the time of its nomination it contained 75 resources, which included 47 contributing buildings, and 26 non-contributing buildings. The historic district is the core of the city's central business district. Fires struck the area in 1889 and twice in 1891. They destroyed the frame buildings, and were replaced with brick and stone structures, although Block 7 developed more slowly. Most of the buildings are two stories in height, six buildings are single-story structures, and two are three stories. The economic development of the city was also assisted by the presence of Grinnell College and the presence of two railroads.
The Wilson Building, also known as the Wilson Block, is a historic building located in Fairfield, Iowa, United States. The two-story Italianate commercial building was built in 1876 by James F. Wilson as an investment property. In 1865 Wilson helped establish and served as president of the First National Bank in Fairfield, and in 1870 he and R. H. Hufford, C. W. Slagle, and George Acheson, organized the Jefferson County Coal Company. Wilson had been a three-term Republican Congressman representing Iowa's 1st congressional district. Seven years after this building was constructed he began the first of two terms in the United States Senate. He had a Senate office in this building from 1883 to 1895. The historic significance of this building reflects the importance of Wilson's contributions to the economic life of Fairfield, and his political career. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
The Western Union Building, formerly known as the Hagerty Block and currently as the Dacotah Prairie Museum, is a historic bank building in Aberdeen, South Dakota. It is individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a contributing property to the Aberdeen Commercial Historic District.
