Winston Heights/Mountview is a residential neighbourhood in the northeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded by 32 Avenue to the north, the Nose Creek and Deerfoot Trail to the east, Trans-Canada Highway to the south and Edmonton Trail to the west. Fox Hollow Golf Course and The Winston Golf Club are developed at the eastern edge of the neighbourhood.
It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 4 councillor.
The neighbourhood was established in 1932 and largely expanded in the 1950s. The community has an area redevelopment plan in place. [3]
According to data from the 2016 Census of Canada, compiled by the city of calgary Winston Heights/Mountview had a population of 3,645 living in 1,735 dwellings. [4] With a land area of 3 km2 (1.2 sq mi), it had a population density of 1,300/km2 (3,400/sq mi) in 2012. [5] [6]
Residents in this community had a median household income of $79,822 in 2016, and there were 10% low income residents living in the neighbourhood. [4] As of 2016, 19% of the residents were immigrants. Among the dwellings in this neighborhood, 37% were single-detached houses, 29% were semi-detached houses, 10% were row houses, and 15% were apartments. A proportion of 61% of the dwellings were owned by the residents while 39% of the housing was used for renting. [4]

The community is served by Georges P. Vanier Bilingual Junior High and Mount View Elementary public schools.
Mount Royal is an area of Calgary, Alberta and is home to the neighbourhoods of Upper Mount Royal and Lower Mount Royal, which are separated by an escarpment that runs along Cameron and Royal Avenues in an east-west direction. Upper Mount Royal has an area redevelopment plan in place.
Albert Park/Radisson Heights is a residential neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded to the west by the Bow River and Deerfoot Trail, to the north by Memorial Drive and to the south by 17 Avenue SE. The community of Forest Lawn lies to the east.
Altadore is a residential neighbourhood in the inner-city portion of the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded by 33rd Ave SW and the neighbourhood of South Calgary in the north, River Park and 14 St SW in the east, the Garrison Woods neighbourhood and Crowchild Trail SW in the west, and 50th Ave SW in the south. Altadore is part of the Marda Loop Communities Association (MLCA) along with Garrison Woods and South Calgary.
Varsity is an established neighbourhood in the Northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It was developed in the 1960s and early 1970s on a plateau to the north of the Bow River valley, and is primarily composed of Single-detached dwellings on wide lots. The neighbourhood comprises three major areas: Varsity Acres, Varsity Village, and Varsity Estates. Varsity is bounded on the north and east by Crowchild Trail, on the west by the Bow River, and on the south by 32nd Avenue NW. It borders the neighbourhoods of Silver Springs and Bowness on the west side, and both Montgomery and the University of Calgary campus on the south side. The easternmost portion of Varsity contains the University of Calgary Research Park.
Forest Lawn is a neighbourhood and former town in the southeast quadrant of the city of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The neighbourhood is bound by 26 Avenue SE to the south, 36 Street SE to the west, 8 Avenue SE to the north and portions of 52 Street SE and 48 Street SE to the east. The former town comprises the entire current Forest Lawn neighbourhood as well as portions of Southview and Albert Park/Radisson Heights to the west, and portions of Penbrooke Meadows and Forest Lawn Industrial to the east. Both the neighbourhood and the former town are bisected by the multicultural 17 Avenue SE. Forest Lawn has an area redevelopment plan in place and is part of the International Avenue Business Revitalization Zone.
Scarboro is a residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located in the inner city, between Bow Trail, 24th Street West and 14th St West. Its north-south boundaries are 12th Avenue South and 17th Avenue South. The community is bisected by the Crowchild Trail freeway.

Banff Trail is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located northeast of the intersection of Crowchild Trail and Trans-Canada Highway, east of McMahon Stadium and the University of Calgary. The Banff Trail station of the CTrain LRT system serves the community, which contains a large motel village in the southwest corner.
Country Hills is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded to the north by the Country Hills Boulevard, to the south by Beddington Trail, and to the east by Harvest Hills Boulevard. To the southwest, it is bordered by the Country Hills golf course which began construction in 1989 and opened in 1992. The clubhouse along with the fully developed course opened in 1999. the area is also bordered by the West Nose Creek. The neighborhood is often mistaken with Country Hills Estates which lies to the south between Country Hills Golf Club and Beddington Trail which was developed a decade earlier. The new community of Country Hills Village is located in the northeast of the neighbourhood. Country Hills is a generally calm and quiet area.
Parkhill is a residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded by Mission Road to the north, Macleod Trail to the east, Crescent Boulevard to the south and the Elbow River to the west. The Roxboro Park borders the community to the north and Stanley Park is established in the Elbow River valley.
Vista Heights is a residential neighbourhood in the northeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded to the south by the Trans-Canada Highway and to the west by Deerfoot Trail. To the north and east it borders the South Airways Industrial Area.
Strathcona Park is a residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded by Bow Trail to the north, Sarcee Trail to the east, Strathcona Drive and the community of Christie Park to the south and Strathcona Park Blvd to the west. Strathcona Park lies in the center of the neighbourhood.
Patterson Heights is a residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded by Sarcee Trail to the east and north, Bow Trail to the south, 69 Street to the west and Old Banff Coach Road to the south. Edworthy Park, developed in the Bow River valley, borders the community to the north and east across Sarcee Trail.

It is located close to the northern edge of the city and is bordered by Stoney Trail to the north, Beddington Trail to the east, Country Hills Boulevard to the south, and Shaganappi Trail to the west. The neighbourhood contains one elementary school, two middle schools, and a small shopping centre. The Hidden Valley Community Association runs multiple annual events for Hidden Valley residents, including pumpkin carving contests and Easter egg hunts.
St. Andrews Heights is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded to the north by the Trans-Canada Highway, to the east by Crowchild Trail, to the south by Toronto Crescent, and to the west by 29 Street. The Foothills Medical Centre occupies the northwestern corner of the community, and McMahon Stadium and the Foothills Athletic Park borders to the northeast. The Bow River flows immediately south of the neighbourhood.

Harvest Hills is a residential neighbourhood in the northeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded by Deerfoot Trail to the east, by Beddington Trail to the south, by Country Hills Boulevard to the north and by Harvest Hills Boulevard to the west. The community contains a lake. The Harvest Hills golf course, shut down in early 2016 with demolition planned for late 2016 and early 2017, is in the process of redevelopment to add additional housing options in the northeast corner of the community.
