You Let Me Walk Alone

Schulte was first confirmed as a competitor in Unser Lied für Lissabon , the German national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, on 29 December 2017. [1] On 13 February 2018, his song was revealed to be titled "You Let Me Walk Alone". [2] The song was released on 20 February. [3] He competed in the final on 22 February, where he received the maximum twelve points from the Eurovision panel, international jury, and televoters, winning the competition. [4] [5]

As Germany is a member of the "Big Five", the song automatically advanced to the final, held on 12 May 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal. [6] [7]

He finished in fourth place with 340 points.

Eurovision Song Contest 2020 – das deutsche Finale live aus der Elbphilharmonie was a one-off music competition in the Eurovision format, organised and broadcast by the German broadcaster Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR). It served as an alternative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020, which was planned to be held in Rotterdam, Netherlands, but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Germany participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, having selected Jendrik Sigwart as their representative with the song "I Don't Feel Hate", following a multi-stage internal selection.
