State Route 20 (SR 20), also known as the North Cascades Highway, is a state highway that traverses the U.S. state of Washington. It is the state's longest highway, traveling 436 miles (702 km) across the northern areas of Washington, from U.S. Route 101 (US 101) at Discovery Bay on the Olympic Peninsula to US 2 near the Idaho state border in Newport. The highway travels across Whidbey Island, North Cascades National Park, the Okanagan Highland, the Kettle River Range, and the Selkirk Mountains. SR 20 connects several major north–south state highways, including Interstate 5 (I-5) in Burlington, US 97 through the Okanogan–Omak area, SR 21 in Republic, and US 395 from Kettle Falls to Colville.

New Mexico State Road 14 (NM 14) is an approximately 54-mile-long (87 km) state road located in northern New Mexico. The highway connects Albuquerque to Santa Fe and comprises most of the Turquoise Trail, a National Scenic Byway which also includes NM 536.

County Route 536 is a county highway in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The highway extends 39 miles (63 km) from the Commodore Barry Bridge crossing the Delaware River at Chester at the Pennsylvania state line and Logan Township, to U.S. Route 206 (US 206) in Hammonton. Much of the western portion of the route is concurrent with US 322 though it is unsigned along this portion.

State Route 536 (SR 536) is a 5.38-mile-long (8.66 km) state highway serving Skagit County in the U.S. state of Washington. The highway travels southeast from SR 20 near Fredonia through Mount Vernon to an interchange with Interstate 5 (I-5) on the east side of downtown Mount Vernon. SR 536 was created during the 1964 highway renumbering as a replacement for the Anacortes branch of Primary State Highway 1 (PSH 1). SR 536 was shortened to its current route in 1973 after SR 20 was extended west and a spur route was established to serve Anacortes.

Delaware Route 42 (DE 42) is a state highway in Kent County, Delaware. It runs from DE 6 in Blackiston east to DE 9 in Leipsic. DE 42 passes through rural areas along with the towns of Kenton and Cheswold. The route intersects DE 300 in Kenton, runs concurrent with DE 15 between Seven Hickories and Moores Corner, and crosses U.S. Route 13 (US 13) in Cheswold. The road was built as a state highway during the 1920s and 1930s. DE 42 was designated by 1936 between Kenton and Leipsic and extended to Blackiston by 1966.

U.S. Route 322 is a spur of U.S. Route 22, running from Cleveland, Ohio, east to Atlantic City, New Jersey. The easternmost segment of the route in New Jersey runs 62.64 miles (100.81 km) from the Commodore Barry Bridge over the Delaware River in Logan Township, Gloucester County, where it continues southeast to Atlantic Avenue and Pacific Avenue in Atlantic City, Atlantic County. The portion of the route between the Commodore Barry Bridge and Route 42 in Williamstown is mostly a two-lane undivided road that is concurrently signed with County Route 536 (CR 536), passing through Mullica Hill and Glassboro. From Williamstown, US 322 follows the Black Horse Pike, a four-lane road, southeast to Atlantic City. In Hamilton Township, Atlantic County, US 322 forms a concurrency with U.S. Route 40, continuing with that route all the way to Atlantic City. US 322 intersects several major roads including U.S. Route 130 and Interstate 295 (I-295) in Logan Township, the New Jersey Turnpike in Woolwich Township, Route 55 in Harrison Township, Route 42 in Williamstown, Route 50 and U.S. Route 40 in Hamilton Township, the Garden State Parkway in Egg Harbor Township, and U.S. Route 9 in Pleasantville.

Pennsylvania Route 536 is a 16.6-mile-long (26.7 km) state highway located in Clarion, Armstrong, and Jefferson Counties in Pennsylvania. The western terminus is at PA 28 in Redbank Township. The eastern terminus is at PA 36 in Young Township.

State Highway Spur 536 is a state highway spur in San Antonio, Texas.

Glassford Peak, at 11,602 feet (3,536 m) above sea level is the third highest peak in the Boulder Mountains of Idaho. Located in the Hemingway–Boulders Wilderness of Sawtooth National Recreation Area and Custer County, Glassford Peak is about 0.55 miles (890 m) north of the Blaine County border. It is the 39th highest peak in Idaho.

State Route 536 is a state highway in Monroe County, Ohio. At 12.58 miles (20.25 km) long, the highway runs from the West Virginia state line at the New Martinsville Bridge near Hannibal to SR 78 in Adams Township. The route south of the northernmost intersection with SR 7 in Hannibal is not signed by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT). The route is signed and designated as a north–south route though the route physically runs northwest–southeast.

Secondary Highway 536, commonly referred to as Highway 536, was a provincially maintained secondary highway in the Canadian province of Ontario. This highway connected Highway 17 near Lively with Wellington Street at the Creighton Mine. Highway 536 followed most of what is now Municipal Road 24, north from Greater Sudbury Road 55. The route existed from 1956 until the formation of the Regional Municipality of Sudbury in 1973.

Only about two miles (3.2 km) of the overall highway is paved and state maintained. The majority of the route is a dirt road that runs through De Soto National Forest.
