Pier Luigi Nervi was an Italian engineer and architect. He studied at the University of Bologna graduating in 1913. Nervi taught as a professor of engineering at Rome University from 1946 to 1961 and is known worldwide as a structural engineer and architect and for his innovative use of reinforced concrete, especially with numerous notable thin shell structures worldwide.

Jean-Louis Lalonde was a Montréal based Canadian architect, perhaps most famous for his pioneering work with the Montréal Municipal Housing Corporation, Place Saint-Henri Metro Station, the Centre des congrès de Montréal and his involvement with the promotion of architecture worldwide.

Romano Roland Paoletti, CBE was a British-Italian architect. He was best known for his work on the early stations for Hong Kong's Mass Transit Railway, and for commissioning the award-winning designs of the stations of London Underground's Jubilee Line Extension. He was described by the Architectural Review as "the Medici of London Transport".
