Since 2011, racewalking performances at the World Athletics Championships and Olympic Games count towards the series. Women have competed in the 50 km distance since 2018.

In 2019, he competed in the men's 50 kilometres walk at the 2019 World Athletics Championships held in Doha, Qatar. He did not finish his race.

He has represented Belarus twice at the World Athletics Championships and is a five-time participant at the World Race Walking Team Championships.

The men's 35 kilometres walk at the 2022 World Athletics Championships was held at the Hayward Field in Eugene on 24 July 2022.
