The 2011 FIM Motocross World Championship was the 55th F.I.M. Motocross World Championship season. It included 30 races at 15 events including Bulgaria, The Netherlands, the United States, Brazil, France, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Germany, Latvia, Limburg, Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Europe and Italy.
The 2011 calendars of the FIM Motocross World Championships promoted by Youthstream were finalised on 25 October 2010. [1] In MX3 two final rounds of the season, originally scheduled in Geneva (Switzerland) and in Spain on 4 and 11 September were cancelled on 20 July 2011. [2]
Points are awarded to the top 20 classified finishers.

The Motocross des Nations is an annual team motocross race, where riders representing their country meet at what is billed as the "Olympics of Motocross". The event has been staged since 1947, where the team of Bill Nicholson, Fred Rist and Bob Ray, representing Great Britain, took home the Chamberlain Trophy for the first time.
The FIM Motocross World Championship is the premier championship of motocross racing, organized by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), divided into two distinct classes: MXGP and MX2. Race duration is 30 minutes plus two laps per race. The series runs 18 events with two races per class at each round. The FIM Women's Motocross World Championship(MXW) is a women-only motorcross championship, inaugurated in 2005, and is a feeder series to the FIM Motocross World Championship.
The 2009 FIM Motocross World Championship was the 53rd F.I.M. Motocross Racing World Championship season. Antonio Cairoli won the MX1 title for Yamaha, Marvin Musquin claimed the MX2 title for KTM and Pierre Renet triumphed in MX3 for Honda.
The 2010 FIM Motocross World Championship was the 54th season of World Championship motocross competition. It consisted of three different classes; MX1 and MX2 classes over 15 events beginning on April 4 in Sevlievo, Bulgaria and ending on September 12 in Fermo, Italy, and MX3 over 12 events also beginning on April 4 in Cortelha, Portugal and ending on September 5 in Geneva, Switzerland.
The 2010 FIM Sidecarcross World Championship, the 31st edition of the competition, started on 5 April and finished after fourteen race weekends on 12 September 2010.
The 2011 FIM Sidecarcross World Championship, the 32nd edition of the competition, started on 3 April and finished after thirteen race weekends on 11 September 2011.
The 2012 FIM Motocross World Championship was the 56th F.I.M. Motocross World Championship season. It included 30 races at 15 events including The Netherlands, Bulgaria, Italy, Mexico, Brazil, France, Portugal, Belgium, Sweden, Latvia, Russia, Czech Republic, Great Britain and Germany.

The 2014 FIM Motocross World Championship was the 58th F.I.M. Motocross World Championship season. It included 17 events including Qatar, Thailand, Brazil, Italy, The Netherlands, Great Britain, France, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, Belgium and Mexico.
The 2015 FIM Motocross World Championship was the 59th F.I.M. Motocross World Championship season. It included 18 events, starting at Losail in Qatar on 28 February, and ending at San Bernardino, California in the United States on 20 September. In the main MXGP class, Tony Cairoli was the six-time defending champion, and entered the 2015 season looking to score a record seventh consecutive premier class title, for Red Bull KTM. He and Maximilian Nagl started the year strong, and as the German round rolled around Nagl had a 30 points lead over Cairoli and 38 over rookie Romain Febvre. Nagl got injured on practice and missed the next 5 rounds, ending his hopes of a maiden championship. Cairoli was struggling during the summer and ended up injured as well. Romain Febvre won the title and became the first french premier-class champion. In the MX2 class, Jordi Tixier was the defending champion, after taking the title in the final race of the 2014 season, also for Red Bull KTM. Tixier defends his title with Team Monster Energy Kawasaki.
The 2016 FIM Motocross World Championship was the 60th FIM Motocross World Championship season. It included 19 events, starting at Losail in Qatar on 27 February, and ending at San Bernardino, California in the United States on 11 September. In the main MXGP class, Romain Febvre was the defending champion after taking his first title in 2015. In the MX2 class, Tim Gajser was the defending champion, after taking his first title in 2015.
The 2017 FIM Motocross World Championship was the 61st FIM Motocross World Championship season. It included 20 events, starting at Losail in Qatar on 25 February, and ending at Villars-sous-Écot in France on 17 September. In the main MXGP class, Tim Gajser was the defending champion after taking his first title in 2016. In the MX2 class, Jeffrey Herlings was the 2016 champion, but he moved up to the MXGP class after taking his third MX2 title.
The 2007 FIM Motocross World Championship was the 51st F.I.M. Motocross Racing World Championship season. In the MX1 class, Steve Ramon took his second world title despite not winning a Grand Prix all season. In the MX2 class Tony Cairoli also won his second world title, while in MX3 Yves Demaria won his third and final world championship.
The 2006 FIM Motocross World Championship was the 50th F.I.M. Motocross Racing World Championship season. In the MX1 class, Stefan Everts took his tenth world title in what was his final season in before retirement. In the MX2 class Christophe Pourcel won his one and only world title, while in MX3 Yves Demaria took his second crown.
The 2020 European Motocross Championship was the 32nd European Motocross Championship season since it was revived in 1988. It includes 16 events and 6 different classes. It started at Matterley Basin in Great Britain on 1 March, and ends at Imola in Italy on 20 September. All rounds will act as support classes at the European rounds of the 2020 MXGP. In 2020, the EMX Open class will form part of the series for the first time.

The 2022 FIM Women's Motocross World Championship is the 18th Women's Motocross World Championship season. Courtney Duncan is the defending champion, after taking her third title in 2021.
The 2023 FIM Motocross World Championship is the 67th FIM Motocross World Championship season.
The 2023 FIM Women's Motocross World Championship was the 19th Women's Motocross World Championship season. Nancy van de Ven was the defending champion, after taking her first title in 2022.
