The 2015 Calcutta Football League Premier Division was the 117th season of the Calcutta Premier Division, a state league within the Indian state of West Bengal. The league was divided into two divisions - Group A and Group B. The Championship title was awarded only to the Group A winner, while four teams from Group A were relegated to Group B at the end of the season and 4 teams from Group B were simultaneously promoted to Group A for the next season. The fixtures of Group A were kicked off on 4 August 2015, while the fixtures for Group B were kicked off on 22 August 2015. [1] [2]

East Bengal won the title for a record 37th time and also created a record by clinching the title for the 6th consecutive time.

Tollygunge Agragami Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Tollygunge, Kolkata, West Bengal, that competes in the Calcutta Premier Division, The club previously participated in the National Football League (India), then top flight of Indian football league system, alongside I-League 2nd Division. During his coaching career, he managed all three Kolkata-giants East Bengal, Mohun Bagan AC and Mohammedan Sporting. He also managed Tollygunge Agragami in 2003.

The team finished runners-up in the Calcutta Football League and a dismal tenth in the I-League. They were crowned Champions in the Airlines Cup after Mohammedan refused to play the finals and gave a walkover. Mohun Bagan crashed out in the group stage of the Federation Cup and were defeated by arch rivals East Bengal in the semi finals of the IFA Shield.

Tarif Saikh Ahmed is a former Indian professional footballer who played as a striker. He spent most of his career with Mumbai based club ONGC. He had also played for Mohun Bagan, Mohammedan S.C., Tollygunge Agragami, and Mahindra United. Ahmed also played internationally for India from 2006 to 2007.

During this season, Mohun Bagan started the I-League as the defending champions. The team finished 3rd in the Calcutta Football league and runners-up in the I-League. Mohun Bagan were defeated by Shandong Luneng of China in the preliminary round 2 of the AFC Champions League and were eliminated from the competition at this stage. They bowed out of the AFC Cup in the round of 16 where they were defeated by the Tampines Rovers of Singapore. They were crowned Champions of the Federation Cup after they defeated Aizawl in the final.

The 2003–04 season was East Bengal Football Club's 8th season in the National Football League, and also marked the club's 84th season. East Bengal successfully defended their league title from the previous season, competing in the 2003-04 NFL. They have also won the 2003 Calcutta Football League and the 2003 ASEAN Club Championship. They became runners-up in the 2003 Super Cup, 2003 Durand Cup and 2003 IFA Shield.

The 2005–06 season was East Bengal's 10th season in the National Football League and 86th season in existence.

The 2000 IFA Shield Final was the 106th final of the IFA Shield, the second oldest football competition in India, and was contested between Kolkata giants East Bengal and Mohun Bagan on 16 September 2000.

The 1975 IFA Shield Final was the 79th final of the IFA Shield, the second oldest football competition in India, and was contested between Kolkata giants East Bengal and Mohun Bagan on 30 September 1975 at the Mohun Bagan Ground in Kolkata.
