The 2019 season is Haugesund's 10th season in the Tippeligaen following their promotion in 2009.
On 7 January, Eirik Horneland became manager of Rosenborg, [1] with Jostein Grindhaug being announced as Haugesund's new manager the following day. [2] [3]

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic only 200 fans were allowed in the stadiums the first 20 rounds, while 600 fans were allowed in the remaining 10 rounds.
