The 2028 United States Senate election in South Carolina will be held on November 7, 2028, to elect a member of the United States Senate to represent South Carolina, concurrently with the 2028 U.S. presidential election, as well as elections to the U.S. House of Representatives and other state and local elections. Incumbent Republican senator Tim Scott, who was re-elected in 2022, is retiring from the U.S. senate after stating that his 2022 re-election campaign would be his last, which leaves the election an open race.
