The Altamaha Apartments, at 1490 Lafayette St. in the Cheesman Park neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, was built in 1902. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. It was designed by architect George L. Bettcher in Italian Renaissance Revival style. [2]

It was deemed significant as representing "Denver's early twentieth century adoption of a new form of residential housing-the luxury apartment building. The Altamaha Apartments are also significant under Criterion C, as they embody the distinctive characteristics of the Italian Renaissance Revival style as applied to an apartment building. [2] [3]

It has also been known as Alta Court, and in 2020 a sign indicates Alta Court Offices. [4]

The listing includes two contributing buildings. [2]

The Drake Court Apartments and the Dartmore Apartments Historic District, built between 1916 and 1921, is located at Jones Street from 20th to 23rd Streets in Midtown Omaha, in the U.S. state of Nebraska. Built in combined Georgian Revival, Colonial Revival and Prairie School styles, the complex was designated a City of Omaha Landmark in 1978; it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a historic district in 1980. The historic district originally included 6.5 acres (2.6 ha) with 19 buildings. In 2014, boundary of the historic district was expanded by 0.74 acres (0.30 ha) include three additional buildings, and decreased by 3 acres (1.2 ha) to remove open space and parking that had been re-purposed, for a new total of 4.24 acres (1.72 ha). The district was also renamed to Drake Court Historic District.

The Humble Oil Building, is a historic office building, designed in the Italian Renaissance architecture style, located at 1212 Main Street in Houston, Texas and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was constructed by Humble Oil and Refining Company in 1921. The tower section was added on to the building in 1936. The building complex served as the company headquarters for Humble Oil and Refining Company from 1921 until 1963, when the company moved into what is now the ExxonMobil Building at 800 Bell Street. In 2003, the building complex was renovated for use as a combination hotel and apartments, the apartment section was converted to additional hotel rooms in 2015.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">The Emelie</span> United States historic place

The Emelie was built in 1902 by German immigrant Frederick Schmid and named for his wife. The building was saved and restored by Browning Day Mullins Dierdorf Architects to serve as the company's corporate headquarters from 1987 to 2003. It is three stories, constructed of red brick and gray limestone. The building also includes a garden level. It is built in the German Renaissance Revival Architecture style. The Officer Eric H. Talley Post Office Building, also known as the Boulder Post Office or Boulder Main Post Office, at 1905 Fifteenth St. in Boulder, Colorado, was built in 1910. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as US Post Office—Boulder Main in 1986. On August 4, 2022, following the 2021 Boulder shooting, the building was dedicated in honor of police officer Eric Talley, who was killed while responding to the shooting. Linde experimented with garden court-type apartments in the nearby 1929 Sorrento Apartments, and perfected the form in the Salerno building.
