Andaman and Nicobar Islands Lok Sabha constituency is the only Lok Sabha (Parliamentary) constituency in the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It covers the entire union territory. Andaman and Nicobar Island has been voting for its Member of Parliament since 1967 Indian general election.
Until the 1967 general election, the Member of Parliament representing this territory was not elected, but directly appointed by the President of India. [1] After 1967, the member of parliament was elected by adult franchise. The first elected member of parliament was K. R. Ganesh. He is the only elected member from this constituency to serve as a minister at the central government. Manoranjan Bhakta has won 8 times from this constituency. As of the latest election in 2024, the current MP representing this constituency is Bishnu Pada Ray of the Bhartiya Janata Party.

Shankarrao Bhavrao Chavan was an Indian politician who served as the chief minister of Maharashtra twice from 1975 until 1977 and from 13 March 1986 until 26 June 1988.
Mizoram is the only Lok Sabha constituency in the Northeast Indian state of Mizoram, and covers the entire area of the state. The seat is reserved for Scheduled Tribes. Its first member of parliament (MP) was Sangliana of the Mizo Union who represented this constituency in the Fifth Lok Sabha when it became a union territory on 21 January 1972. On 20 February 1987, Mizoram was converted into a State of India. As of the 2024 elections, this constituency's MP is Richard Vanlalhmangaiha of the Zoram People's Movement.

Manoranjan Bhakta was an Indian politician and a leader of the Indian National Congress (INC) political party. He was first elected as Member of Parliament for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in 1977 to the 6th Lok Sabha. In total, he served eight terms as Member of Parliament for this constituency, seven of which were consecutive from 1977–1999. In 2010, after being denied a ticket in an election, he left the INC and later joined the Trinamool Congress.

It has been known as Vadodara since the 2009 elections. Its first member of parliament (MP) was Fatehsinghrao Gaekwad of the Indian National Congress (INC) who was also re-elected in the next elections in 1962. He was the Maharaja of Baroda of the Gaekwad dynasty at the time. P. C. Patel of the Swatantra Party won the election in 1967. From 1971–80, Gaekwad was MP of this constituency again firstly as a member of the Indian National Congress (Organisation) and then as a member of the INC. His younger brother, Ranjitsinh Pratapsinh Gaekwad also of the INC represented the constituency from 1980–89 for two terms before being defeated by Prakash Brahmbhatt of the Janata Dal party in the 1989 election.

He was Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance from June 26, 1970 to October 10, 1974 and then Ministry of Petroleum and Chemicals from October 10, 1974 to December 1, 1975. He was co-founders of Congress for Democracy along with Jagjivan Ram, Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna, and Nandini Satpathy left the Indian National Congress of Indira Gandhi and denounced her rule during the Indian Emergency.
