Holland Historic District is a national historic district located at Suffolk, Virginia. The district encompasses 106 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site in the crossroads community of Holland in Suffolk. The district includes a variety of turn-of-the-20th century residential styles, a smaller number of brick commercial structures, several industrial buildings along the railroad, and two churches. Most of the buildings in Holland were built after 1910. Notable buildings include Dr. Job Holland Building, the former Bank of Holland, the railroad depot, Holland Christian Church (1918), Holland Baptist Church (1922), and the William T. Holland farmhouse (1860-1880).

Foster Falls Historic District is a national historic district located near Max Meadows, Wythe County, Virginia. They are primarily industrial and commercial buildings and structures built in the late-19th century. They include the iron furnace stack, the rail bed and frame railroad passenger station, a general store building, and a combination gristmill/sawmill. The district includes the Foster Falls Hotel, a late-Victorian style brick building. The hotel property includes two brick dependencies associated with an orphanage that occupied the hotel building beginning in 1938. It now serves as the headquarters of the New River Trail State Park.

The district includes 532 contributing buildings, 3 contributing sites, and 2 contributing structures in the city of Danville. The district reflects the late-19th century and early-20th development of Danville as a tobacco processing center and includes residential, commercial, and industrial buildings reflecting that growth. It also includes archaeological sites related to early Native American settlements in the area. Notable buildings include the American Tobacco's Harris Building, the Imperial Tobacco Company Building, Cabell Warehouse, Patton Storage Units, Crowell Motor Company, Municipal Power Station (1912), Riverside Cotton Mill #1 (1886), and a variety of "shotgun" houses and bungalow workers housing. Belfield–Emporia Historic District, also known as North Emporia, is a national historic district located at Emporia, Virginia. The district includes 41 contributing buildings in the Belfield section of Emporia. In 1887, the neighboring towns of Hicksford and Belfield merged to form the town of Emporia. The district generally consists of late-19th- to early-20th-century brick buildings laid out in a "T"-shape at the intersection of Halifax and Baker Streets. Notable buildings include the Hotel Virginia, the Bethlehem Building or former First National Bank of Emporia (1907), Petersburg and Danville Railroad passenger station, and Pair's Furniture. Located in the district is the separately listed H. T. Klugel Architectural Sheet Metal Work Building.
Hicksford–Emporia Historic District, also known as Emporia, is a national historic district located at Emporia, Virginia. The district includes 36 contributing buildings and 2 contributing objects in the Hicksford section of Emporia. In 1848, Hicksford was a stop on the Petersburg Railroad. In 1887, the neighboring towns of Hicksford and Belfield merged to form the town of Emporia. The district generally consists of late 19th century or early 20th century, when Hicksford–Emporia began to evolve from a small agricultural outpost to a large commercial and governmental center. Located at the heart of the district is the separately listed Greensville County Courthouse Complex. Other notable buildings include the Citizen's National Bank, the Widow's Son's Masonic Lodge (1905), First Presbyterian Church (1907-1908), Emporia Elementary School, Emporia Armory (mid-1930s), Greensville County Auditorium (1934), and Emporia Post Office (1938). The Old Merchants and Farmers Bank Building is also separately listed.

Darlington Industrial Historic District is a national historic district located at Darlington, Darlington County, South Carolina. The district encompasses 12 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure in an industrial section of Darlington. They were built between about 1890 and 1925. All of these buildings are located along the rights-of-way of the South Carolina Western Railway and the Charleston, Sumter and Northern Railroad since the industries each of these buildings served employed the services of the railroad. Among the prominent resources in the district are the Charleston, Sumter and Northern Railway Freight Station (1891), the Darlington Roller Mill (1899), Thomas and Howard Tobacco Warehouse ; and Price's Tobacco Warehouse, and a cotton warehouse.
