The Aroostook County Courthouse and Jail is located on Court Street in the center of Houlton, Maine. The building was built in 1859 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 26, 1990. Its oldest portion dates to 1859, built to a design by Gridley J. F. Bryant, and was the county's first purpose-built court facility. Later additions in 1895 and 1928 added wings that give the building its present shape. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

The courthouse that was built in 1939 was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 2003 as a part of the PWA-Era County Courthouses of IA Multiple Properties Submission. It was the third building the county has used for court functions and county administration. The building was demolished in the summer of 2019 and removed from the NRHP in September of the same year. A new courthouse and justice center is expected to be completed in 2022.

The Wharton County Courthouse Historic Commercial District is a 21-acre (8.5 ha) historic district in Wharton, Texas that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. It includes works by architects Jules Leffland and Wyatt C. Hedrick and others. The NRHP listing included 46 contributing buildings and two contributing objects, as well as 31 non-contributing buildings and two non-contributing objects, on the blocks fronting on the courthouse square and on nearby blocks.
The Union County Courthouse on Court St. in Clayton, New Mexico is a historic building built in 1909. It has been described as having World's Fair Classic Style architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
The Harding County Courthouse, located on Pine St. in Mosquero, is the county courthouse in Harding County, New Mexico. The courthouse was completed in 1922; while the building had existed previously as a school, it was extensively remodeled to become the county courthouse. It is considered the grandest public building ever built in the county, the smallest in the state by population. The two-story building has a Classical Revival design with modest decoration; its main features include an entrance framed by piers and a cornice, pilasters above the entrance, and an egg and dart entablature. The courthouse grounds make up one of the only two dedicated public spaces in the county, along with the public square in Roy.

The Jersey County Courthouse, located on 201 W. Pearl Street in Jerseyville, is Jersey County, Illinois' county courthouse. Built in 1893–94, the 124 foot tall courthouse was the third used by the county since its formation in 1839. Architect Henry Elliott of Chicago and Jacksonville designed the building in the Romanesque Revival style. The building's design features a tall central tower topped by an octagonal cupola, terminal towers at the front corners, and a raised front porch. The building's limestone exterior, which is intricately decorated on the front face, uses stone quarried at the nearby city of Grafton. The Jersey County Illinois courthouse was the third courthouse designed by Mr Elliott who also designed the Greene County Courthouse (1891) in Carrollton, Illinois; Edgar County Courthouse (1891) in Paris, Illinois; DeWitt County Illinois Courthouse (1893) in Clinton, Illinois and Pike County Illinois Courthouse (1894) in Pittsfield. The DeWitt County Courthouse was demolished in 1987.
