CraftStudio is a collaborative cross-platform game engine used to create voxel-based video games, developed by Sparklin Labs.
Developer Élisée Maurer began the funding campaign for CraftStudio on IndieGoGo in March 2011, with an early development version being offered to players. [1] The game reached its funding goal of $16,000 in April 2012. [2] The game entered its alpha phase of development in June 2012 and entered beta in April 2013 [3] before being fully released in May 2015, with major updates concluding. [4] The successor to CraftStudio is Superpowers, a collaborative HTML5 game development environment, [5] which was fully released in July 2016. [6] In April 2017, CraftStudios was released for free on itch.io. [5]
CraftStudio allows users to work collaboratively on projects in real-time to create voxel-based video games in both 2D and 3D, with assets stored in the cloud. [1] [7] The tool encompasses the entire video game development workflow, allowing users to manage models, animations, Lua scripts, and maps obtained from pre-made assets or created from scratch. [1] Games can be published for Windows, macOS, Linux, or the web browser.
CraftStudio was used as a modelling toolkit by developer Hypixel Studios to create assets for Hytale during the game's development. Hypixel Studios then hired the developers of CraftStudio, Maurer and Nicolas Gauthier, to work on evolving CraftStudio into a unique toolkit built specifically for Hytale. This toolkit became the Hytale Model Maker, and is used to create all of the items, NPCs, and animations in the game. [8]

The Magical Realms of Tír na nÓg: Escape from Necron 7 – Revenge of Cuchulainn: The Official Game of the Movie – Chapter 2 of the Hoopz Barkley SaGa, also called Barkley 2, was a role-playing video game being developed by Tales of Game's Studios. The game was intended to be a sequel to Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden, a 2008 freeware title which itself is a fan game sequel to the basketball game Barkley Shut Up and Jam! and the film Space Jam.
Digital Homicide Studios L.L.C. was an American video game developer based in Yuma, Arizona. James and Robert Romine founded the company in 2014 and released poorly received games in quick succession. The studio produced roughly sixty games until September 2016, including The Slaughtering Grounds, Temper Tantrum, and Galactic Hitman. The Slaughtering Grounds, Digital Homicide Studios's best-known title, was released via Steam in October 2014. James Stephanie Sterling's criticism of the game led to a dispute with Digital Homicide Studios and eventually a lawsuit by James Romine against Sterling. Romine also filed a lawsuit against 100 anonymous Steam users in September 2016, accusing them of harassment. In response to the latter, Valve removed all Digital Homicide Studios games from Steam, which Romine stated "destroyed" the studio by October 2016. He subsequently withdrew the lawsuit, while that against Sterling was dismissed with prejudice in February 2017.

It was released as an open alpha version on March 16, 2020, and became available as Early Access on April 15, 2021. Core hosts user-generated games that are designed for an older teen and adult audience. Core's game creation system is designed to simplify video game creation in order to allow more individuals to develop games. Manticore Games, the developer of Core, was co-founded by Frederic Descamps and Jordan Maynard in 2016 and is based in San Mateo, California. Core is based on a similar concept as other gaming platforms for user-generated games such as Roblox.
Sokpop Collective, also known as simply Sokpop, is an independent video game development studio located in Utrecht, The Netherlands. The studio was founded in 2015 and consists of four people. The studio is run as a collective, with no formal leadership structure or managers, but a flat hierarchy where everyone works as equals.
