The Day of Action (sometimes National Day of Action) [1] was a series of protests against the Donald Trump administration, held on April 19, 2025. [2] [3] [4] Approximately 600 to 700 events were organized. [5] [6]
The Day of Action was part of the 50501 protests organized by the 50501 movement. The demonstrations on April 19 followed the Hands Off protests held on April 5, 2025.

There were multiple protests in Connecticut. [7]
There were protests in Maine. [8] [9]
In Massachusetts, the capital city of Boston and most of Middlesex County celebrated the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere's midnight ride and the Battles of Lexington and Concord that started the American Revolution, with uncanny parallels to present-day resistance to tyranny. [10] Amongst the tens of thousands of local citizens and tourists that attended Lexington's battle reenactment and the town parades of both Concord and Lexington were fringes of anti-Trumpers who protested peacefully, [11] both along the crowded sidelines and from within the parade itself. [12] There was also a demonstration in Shelburne Falls. [13]
In New Hampshire, there was a protest in the capital city of Concord. [14]

In Kentucky, there was a demonstration in Lexington. [18]
In Mississippi, protests were planned in Gulfport, Hattiesburg, Hernando, and Jackson. [19]
In Tennessee, a protest was planned in Johnson City. [20]
In Florida, [21] there were protests in Miami [22] [23] and St. Petersburg. [24]
Approximately 20 demonstrations were planned in North Carolina, including in the cities of Durham, Huntersville, [25] Raleigh, [26] and Asheville. [27]
Demonstrations were also planned in Washington, D.C. [28] Protesters gathered outside the White House as well as J.D. Vance's residence. [29] [30]
In Illinois, protests were planned in Chicago. [31]
There were multiple protests in Michigan. [32]
There were protests in Ohio. [33]
In South Dakota, activities were planned in Aberdeen, Pierre, Rapid City, and Sioux Falls. [34] [35]

Approximately 2,000 people gathered at the Idaho State Capitol. [41]
Many people protested in Missoula, Montana. [42]
In California, a protest was planned in South Lake Tahoe. [43] A demonstration was held in San Francisco. [44]
In Hawaii, a demonstration is scheduled to be held on Maui. [45]
Several protests are planned in Oregon, including in the cities of Beaverton, Bend, Corvallis, Dallas, Eugene, Gold Beach, Grants Pass, Klamath Falls, Portland, [46] [47] Roseburg, Salem, and Tigard. [48] Hundreds gathered at the Oregon State Capitol. [49] [50]
In Washington, a protest was planned in Edmonds. [51] Demonstrations were held in Poulsbo, [52] Sequim, [53] and Shoreline. [54]
The snowball is still rolling. 50501 is organizing a new "National Day of Action," combining protest and community building, this Saturday, April 19.
