Croghan is a town in Lewis County, New York, United States. The population was 3,093 at the 2010 census. The town is in the northern part of the county and located northeast of the county seat, Lowville. The town contains a village also named Croghan, a small part of which is located in the adjacent town of New Bremen. Both the village and town are locally pronounced \Krō-gun\.

The Wilson Building is an historic 8-story building in the Main Street district of downtown Dallas, Texas. The building was completed in 1904 and patterned after the Palais Garnier in Paris, France. The historic structure fronts Main Street on the south, Ervay Street on the east, and Elm Street on the north. The Wilson building was the tallest structure in Dallas from 1904–1909 and was considered the premier commercial structure west of the Mississippi. The Wilson Building is situated across from the flagship Neiman Marcus Building and is adjacent to the Mercantile National Bank Building.

The Swan Land and Cattle Company Headquarters are a historic ranch headquarters complex on Wyoming Highway 313 in Chugwater, Wyoming. Organized in 1883 in Scotland, the Swan Company was one of the largest ranching operations in the nation in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, managing more than one million acres of land. Now a much smaller operation, its former headquarters complex was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1964.
Ten Sleep Mercantile, also known as Ten Sleep Hardware, is an example of a typical small-town general store. Located in Ten Sleep, Wyoming, it has been the focal point of the town since it was built in 1905 by H.T. Church. Upon Church's death in 1918 the property was bought by Buffalo businessman and rancher Alex Healy (Rancher) in an agreement that brought the store under the control of Paul Frison. Frison, who later served as mayor of Ten Sleep and as a Wyoming state legislator, operated the store from 1918 to 1943.

Wyoming Mercantile, also known as the Aladdin General Store is a preserved small-town general store in Aladdin, Wyoming. The store, which remains in operation, was built in 1896 by Amos Robinson as Wyoming Mercantile. Robinson died the same year, and the store went to Mahlon S. Kemmerer, who placed his properties, including the Wyoming and Missouri Valley Railroad, under the Wyoming Mercantile umbrella. Railroading continued until 1927. The store has continued, serving as a post office, bar, freight station and gas station.

McClellan's General Store is a historic structure located in New London, Iowa, United States. James and Adeline McClellan moved to Henry County in 1856. He bought the lot for $365 in 1867 and had the building built for a mercantile business that he founded the same year. It was the first building constructed in the simplified Italianate style in town He added dry goods to his store in 1875 and the business was renamed McClellan and Stottard Dry Goods Store at about the same time. The McClellan family used the second floor as their residence for several years The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The C.H. King Company and First National Bank Building, also known as Yellowstone Drug, is one of the oldest buildings in Shoshoni, Wyoming. The building was built for Charles Henry King in 1905–1906. King was a central Wyoming businessman who established a lumber business in the building. King is otherwise notable as the biological grandfather of U.S. president Gerald R. Ford. The First National Bank of Shoshoni was also located in the building.
