The Donald Barger House, at 2972 Front St., at the corner of Main St., in Petersburg, Boone County, Kentucky, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. [1]

It was deemed significant "as a good and particularly well-preserved representative of approximately a dozen hall-parlor cottages in Petersburg, and of the ten hall-parlor houses surveyed in the rest of Boone County." [2]

Fort Boonesborough State Park

Fort Boonesborough was a frontier fort in Kentucky, founded by Daniel Boone and his men following their crossing of the Kentucky River on April 1, 1775. The settlement they founded, known as Boonesborough, Kentucky, is Kentucky's second oldest European-American settlement. It served as a major frontier outpost during the American Revolutionary War, and survived into the early 19th century before its eventual abandonment. A National Historic Landmark now administered as part of Fort Boonesborough State Park, the site is one of the best-preserved archaeological sites of early westward expansion by British colonists in that period. It is located in Madison County, Kentucky off Kentucky Route 627.

Boone House (St. Petersburg, Florida) United States historic place

The Boone House is a historic home in St. Petersburg, Florida, United States. It was built in 1910, and is significant because of its masonry construction, and Colonial Revival Style architecture. According to a 1978 survey of 26 other homes that were built no later than 1910, only the Willard and the Boone Houses feature masonry construction. The house is named after Benjamin T. Boone, who devoted himself to real estate development in St. Petersburg. It is located at 601 Fifth Avenue North. On July 3, 1986, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Daniel Boone Homestead United States historic place

The Daniel Boone Homestead, the birthplace of American frontiersman Daniel Boone, is a museum and historic house that is administered by the Friends of the Daniel Boone Homestead near Birdsboro, Berks County, Pennsylvania in the United States. It is located on nearly 600 acres (2.4 km2) and is the largest site owned by the PHMC, Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. The staff at Daniel Boone Homestead interpret the lives of the three main families that lived at the Homestead: the Boones, the Maugridges and the DeTurks. The park is just off U.S. Route 422 north of Birdsboro in Exeter Township.

Fryer House United States historic place

The Fryer House is located in Butler, Kentucky. This historic two-story stone house was built by Pendleton County, Kentucky pioneer Walter Fryer in 1811. Abraham Vastine, a housebuilder, built this house of limestone from an adjacent quarry, and it has walls two feet thick. The roof truss system is built of wood framing held together with wooden pegs. The home was not completed until 1813.
