Downtown Grand Forks is the original commercial center of Grand Forks, North Dakota. Located on the western bank of the Red River of the North, the downtown neighborhood is situated near the fork of the Red River and the Red Lake River. While downtown is no longer the dominant commercial area of the Greater Grand Forks community, it remains the historic center of Grand Forks. An 80.4-acre (32.5 ha) portion was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005, as Downtown Grand Forks Historic District. Today, downtown Grand Forks is home to many offices, stores, restaurants, and bars.
The Drake Court Apartments and the Dartmore Apartments Historic District, built between 1916 and 1921, is located at Jones Street from 20th to 23rd Streets in Midtown Omaha, in the U.S. state of Nebraska. Built in combined Georgian Revival, Colonial Revival and Prairie School styles, the complex was designated a City of Omaha Landmark in 1978; it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a historic district in 1980. The historic district originally included 6.5 acres (2.6 ha) with 19 buildings. In 2014, boundary of the historic district was expanded by 0.74 acres (0.30 ha) include three additional buildings, and decreased by 3 acres (1.2 ha) to remove open space and parking that had been re-purposed, for a new total of 4.24 acres (1.72 ha). The district was also renamed to Drake Court Historic District.
Glasco Downtown Historic District is an early commercial, Italianate historic shopping area located in Glasco, Kansas that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The 3.9-acre (1.6 ha) historic district runs roughly along Main Street from Railroad Avenue to Fisher Street and continues along Railroad Avenue and Fisher Streets between Main and Buffalo Streets in Glasco. It includes 22 buildings deemed to contribute to the historic character of the area, one other contributing structure, and six non-contributing buildings.
The Lakeville Historic District in Salisbury, Connecticut is a historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. It is also the name of a local historic district that was established in 1970. The local historic district is entirely included within the National Register-listed district.
Olde Town Arvada, the 15.1 acres (6.1 ha) historic district in Arvada, Colorado bounded by Ralston Road, Teller Road, Grandview Avenue and Yukon Street. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. The listing included 42 contributing buildings.
The Governor's Mansion Historic District is a historic district covering a large historic neighborhood of Little Rock, Arkansas. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 and its borders were increased in 1988 and again in 2002. The district is notable for the large number of well-preserved late 19th and early 20th-century houses, and includes a major cross-section of residential architecture designed by the noted Little Rock architect Charles L. Thompson. It is the oldest city neighborhood to retain its residential character.
The Dwight Street Historic District is an irregularly shaped 135-acre (55 ha) historic district in New Haven, Connecticut. The district is located immediately west of the center of Downtown New Haven and is generally bounded by Elm Street on the north, Park Street on the east, North Frontage Road on the south, and Sherman Avenue on the west. It contains one of the city's highest concentrations of well-preserved 19th and early 20th-century residential architecture, much of which was developed for the working classes in the city's factories. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The historic district includes most of the Dwight neighborhood and several blocks of the northeast corner of the West River neighborhood.
The Durant Downtown Historic District (DDHD) in Durant, Bryan County, Oklahoma is a 28 acres (11 ha) historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. It is roughly bounded by 4th Ave., Lost St., Evergreen St. and 1st Ave.
The Downtown Norwich Historic District is a historic district representing the core of the downtown area of the city of Norwich, Connecticut in the United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It includes 115 contributing buildings and one other contributing structure over a 64-acre (26 ha) area. Several buildings in the historic district are also individually listed on the National Register, including the Norwich Town Hall, the Telephone Exchange Building and the Carroll Building.
The Downtown Athens Historic District is a historic area in the Downtown Athens neighborhood of Athens, Georgia. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Its boundaries were revised twice, in 1984 and 2006, and additional documentation was filed in 2006.

The Vidalia Commercial Historic District, also known as Downtown Vidalia, is a 15-acre (6.1 ha) historic district in Vidalia, in Toombs County, Georgia, that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It included 69 contributing buildings when listed in 1996.
The Franklin Historic District in Franklin, Louisiana was established by the listing of a 155-acre (63 ha) area as a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The listing then included 327 contributing buildings and one other contributing structure. The district was expanded in 2005 to add seven more contributing buildings at 600-608 Palfrey Street. The modified district included 334 contributing buildings and 89 non-contributing intrusions.
The Schepis Building, on Main Street in Columbia, Louisiana, was built in about 1916. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The building was also added as a contributing property to the Downtown Columbia Historic District at the time of its creation on October 18, 1996.
The St. Joseph Historic District in St. Joseph in Tensas Parish, Louisiana was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It included 99 buildings, 71 of them being contributing buildings, in an 80 acres (32 ha) area roughly bounded by Panola Ave. and Front, Hickory, 4th, and Pauline Streets in downtown St. Joseph.
The New Orleans Lower Central Business District is a historic district in New Orleans, Louisiana which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1991. It may be referred to as Lower Central Business District. Along with the NRHP-listed New Orleans Upper Central Business District to the south, across the redeveloped Poydras Street, it is included within the larger New Orleans Central Business District area. To the north, between N. Peters and N. Rampart, the district borders the historic, NRHP-listed Vieux Carre, which is a U.S. National Historic Landmark.
