Conecuh County is a county located in the south central portion of the U.S. state of Alabama. As of the 2020 census the population was 11,597. Its county seat is Evergreen. Its name is believed to be derived from a Creek Indian term meaning "land of cane."
Brewton is a city in and the county seat of Escambia County, Alabama, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 5,276. Brewton is located in south central Alabama, just north of the Florida Panhandle.
Evergreen is an unincorporated town, a post office, and a census-designated place (CDP) located in and governed by Jefferson County, Colorado, U.S. The CDP is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Evergreen post office has the ZIP Codes 80439 and 80437. At the 2020 census, the population of the Evergreen CDP was 9,307. The Evergreen Metropolitan District provides services.

The New Evergreen Commercial Historic District is a 12-acre (4.9 ha) historic district in Evergreen, Conecuh County, Alabama. It is bounded by Mill, Cooper, Rural, Court, Liberty, East Front, Cary and Despious streets. The district is primarily commercial, with examples of the Art Deco, neoclassical, Victorian, Romanesque Revival, and Colonial Revival styles. Some are plain brick commercial structures with no distinct style. The district contains 39 properties, with 30 contributing and 9 noncontributing to the district. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 21, 1994.
Confederate Park is a park in Greenville, Alabama. The park was established in 1902 in front of the First Methodist Church on 1 acre of land donated by the church to the United Daughters of the Confederacy. The following year, the UDC commissioned a 16-foot (4.8-m) marble statue of a Confederate soldier on a pedestal. In the following years, many shrubs and shade trees were planted, and in 1909 a fountain was donated by Mayor Claude E. Hamilton, and was placed in the center of the park. Sidewalks along Commerce Street and diagonal walkways through the park, as well as several benches, were also placed. In the 1920s, a landscape architect was hired to place flowers and evergreens. In 1937, the city hall was built across Commerce Street from the park.
