The Margaret Mitchell House is an historic house museum located in Atlanta, Georgia. The structure was the home of author Margaret Mitchell. It is located in Midtown, at 979 Crescent Avenue. Constructed by Cornelius J. Sheehan as a single-family residence in a then-fashionable section of residential Peachtree Street, the building's original address was 806 Peachtree Street. The house was known as the Crescent Apartments when Mitchell and her husband lived in Apt. 1 on the ground floor from 1925 to 1932. While living there, Mitchell wrote the bulk of her Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, Gone with the Wind.
The Drake Court Apartments and the Dartmore Apartments Historic District, built between 1916 and 1921, is located at Jones Street from 20th to 23rd Streets in Midtown Omaha, in the U.S. state of Nebraska. Built in combined Georgian Revival, Colonial Revival and Prairie School styles, the complex was designated a City of Omaha Landmark in 1978; it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a historic district in 1980. The historic district originally included 6.5 acres (2.6 ha) with 19 buildings. In 2014, boundary of the historic district was expanded by 0.74 acres (0.30 ha) include three additional buildings, and decreased by 3 acres (1.2 ha) to remove open space and parking that had been re-purposed, for a new total of 4.24 acres (1.72 ha). The district was also renamed to Drake Court Historic District.
The Kirby Building, historically known as the Busch Building, is a 17-story skyscraper in the Main Street District of Downtown Dallas. The structure was completed in 1913 by beer magnate Adolphus Busch to accompany his nearby Hotel Adolphus. The building became vacant with many older buildings during the economic downturn of the 1980s. While the building was symbolic of downtown's crash in the 1980s, it also served as a symbol of the start of the resurrection as it became the first high-rise to be converted from office use to residential apartments. The structure is a Dallas Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Azalea Court Apartments is a historic three-story apartment building located in Mobile, Alabama. It was built in 1928 and was designed by architect J. Platt Roberts in the Spanish Colonial Revival style. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 11, 1988.

It was built in 1937-1938, and consists of three three-story, Colonial Revival style red brick buildings. It has 106 apartments and includes a "U"-shaped building and two stepped plan buildings.
Shortridge–Meridian Street Apartments Historic District is a national historic district located at Indianapolis, Indiana. The district encompasses 136 contributing buildings in a predominantly residential section of Indianapolis. It was developed between about 1900 and 1951, and includes representative examples of Colonial Revival, Classical Revival, Late Gothic Revival, Mission Revival, Renaissance Revival, Bungalow / American Craftsman, and Art Deco style architecture. Located in the district is the separately listed Shortridge High School. Other notable buildings include the Vernon Court Apartments (1928), Fronenac Apartments (1951), Biltmore Apartments (1927), Meridian Apartments (1929), New Yorker Apartments (1917), Howland Manor (1929), Powell-Evans House (1911), Harms House (1906), Dorchester Apartments (1921), and Martin Manor Apartments (1916).

The Benworth-Chapman Apartments and Chapman Cottages are two apartment buildings in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Benworth-Chapman Apartments building was built as Benworth Apartments by George Bowles & Sons in 1927, and designed in the Mission Revival style. Bowles sold the building to Benjamin L. Farnsworth in 1927, and Farnsworth, his wife Alice and some of their children lived in the building with their tenants. The building belonged to the Zions Bank from 1933 to 1937, when it was acquired by Clarissa G. Chapman, who renamed it Chapman Apartments. Chapman Cottages was built in 1937-1940. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since December 30, 2004.

It was designed in the Italianate style, and built in 1884 by James Porter, a farmer, schoolteacher and real estate developer. It is "purported to be the first apartment building constructed in Helena." It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.
