The Lake McDonald Lodge is a historic lodge located within Glacier National Park, on the southeast shore of Lake McDonald. The lodge is a 3+1⁄2-story structure built in 1913 based on Kirtland Cutter's design. The foundation and first floor walls are built of stone, with a wood-frame superstructure. The lobby is a large, open space that extends to the third story. It has a massive fireplace and a concrete floor scored in a flagstone pattern, with messages in several Indian languages inscribed into it. The rustic lodge was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1987 as one of the nation's finest examples of large-scale Swiss chalet architecture. Lake McDonald Lodge is a member of Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
The Cushing Hotel is a historic hotel in Afton, Minnesota, United States, established in 1867 to cater to railroad workers, lumbermen, and travelers. The hotel was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985 for having local significance in the theme of commerce. It was nominated for exemplifying the commercial lodging common to mid-19th-century river towns. It remains in business as the Afton House Inn.
The Scales Mound Historic District is a historic district in the small Illinois village of Scales Mound. The district encompasses the entire corporate limit of the village and has more than 200 properties within its boundaries. The district was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
The Border Theater is a historic movie theater in Mission, Texas. Located at 905 North Conway Boulevard it is in the city's central business district. Built in 1942 it continues to operate as an entertainment venue. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on 28 August 1998.
The Richard H. Chambers U.S. Court of Appeals is a historic building originally constructed as a Spanish Colonial Revival style resort known as the Vista del Arroyo Hotel and Bungalows located at Pasadena in Los Angeles County, California. During World War II, it served as the McCornack General Hospital, and was thereafter in use as a general-purpose federal government building for several decades. It now serves as a courthouse of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
The Branchville Railroad Tenement is a historic commercial and residential building at the junction of Portland Avenue and West Branchville Road in Ridgefield, Connecticut. Built in stages between about 1853 and 1905, it is a distinctive reminder of the area's railroad-related history, serving as tenement housing for railroad workers before being converted to other residential and commercial uses. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 12, 1982. It continues to be used for commercial and residential purposes.
The Sacred Heart Church in Tombstone, Arizona, United States, a Roman Catholic church, was established in 1881, as the first church of any denomination in rough-and-tumble Tombstone, founded in 1877, which had quickly become the largest and busiest city between San Francisco and St. Louis. It was only the sixth Catholic church in the Arizona Territory, and its 1882 building is the oldest known surviving frame church in Arizona. Its courtyard behind holds rose bushes of unusual size.
Charles Schagrin Building is a historic commercial building located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in the first quarter of the 19th century, with a new facade added in 1918, and modified again in 1948. It is a three-story, single bay commercial building with a rectangular plan built of wall bearing brick construction. It features a recessed display window, vertical black granite strips on both sides of the building, a stuccoed sign framed by horizontal copper bands, a large single-light central window with a stepped concrete window frame, and is in the Art Deco style.
The Arizona Rancho, also known as the Higgins House, Brunswick Hotel and Arizona Hotel, is a former hotel in Holbrook, Arizona, United States. It was originally built between 1881 and 1883 as a residence, the expanded as a boarding house, a hotel, and finally as a motel. The original structure is thought to be the oldest extant structure in Holbrook.
The Ivanov-Rinov House is a historic house on Pierce Road in Dublin, New Hampshire. This two story house and studio was built over a twenty-year period beginning in 1937 by Gouri P. Ivanov-Rinov, an artist born in Russian Turkestan. The house features distinctive construction methods not usually found in New England, since they are based on those from his homeland. The main block is a square constructed of rammed earth, with a rear extension that is wood framed, which houses the kitchen and studio. The exterior is finished in a gray stucco-like material, with wood trim. The interior of the earth walls has recessed niches for the display of artwork. The rammed-earth construction is believed to be the only building of its type in New England. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
The Old Sullivan County Courthouse was the first county courthouse of Sullivan County, New Hampshire. Construction of the brick building in 1825-26 was instrumental in securing Newport's status as the shire town of the county when it was established in 1827. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. The building is now in commercial use.
The Commercial Hotel is a historic hotel building facing the courthouse square of Mountain View, Arkansas. It is a two-story wood-frame structure, rectangular in plan, with a hip roof that has exposed rafter ends, and weatherboard siding. A porch wraps around its principal facades, supported by box columns. Built in 1925, it is a fine local example of commercial Craftsman architecture, and one of two surviving hotel buildings from the 1920s in the community.
Pawlet Town Hall houses the municipal offices of the town of Pawlet, Vermont. Located at 122 School Street in the village center, it was built in 1881 as a combined town hall, meeting and performance venue, and retail establishment. It has served as town hall since its construction, and is a good local example of late Italianate architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.
The Seven Arts Building, is a one-and-one-half-story, commercial building in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. It was built in 1925, for poet mayor Herbert Heron. The building was designated as a significant commercial building in the city's Downtown Historic District Property Survey, and was recorded with the Department of Parks and Recreation on January 31, 2003. The building has been occupied by the Carmel Bay Company since 1972.
The Amelia Gates Building is a historic two-story wood-framed Tudor Revival style commercial building in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. The building is significant as one of the two known designs by Dr. Amelia Gates. The building qualified as an important commercial building in the city's downtown historic district property survey and was registered with the California Register of Historical Resources on February 13, 2002. The building is occupied by the Kashmir Treasures and the MEUSE art gallery.

It was built in 1952, by Monterey Peninsula Builders and designed by architect Edwin Lewis Snyder as a restaurant. It is an example of a Monterey Colonial architecture style building. The structure qualifies as an important building in the city's downtown historic district property survey and was recorded with the California Register of Historical Resources on June 5, 2006.

The Park Hotel is a historic building located in Sac City, Iowa, United States. The three-story, brick structure was designed by the Storm Lake, Iowa, architectural firm of Unger and Parks and built by Parks Construction, also of Storm Lake. The building was completed in 1912 and enlarged in 1917. Before its construction, Sac City had several food and lodging establishments but it lacked a quality hotel.
