The Franklin Downtown Commercial District, in Franklin, Kentucky, is a historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The listing was expanded later in the same year. [1]
The original listing included 50 contributing buildings, including the Simpson County Courthouse which was already separately listed on the National Register. [2]

The district covers the southwestern corner of Downtown New Haven, including properties from Park Street to Temple Street between Chapel and Crown streets, and properties from High Street to Temple Street between George and Crown streets. It is bordered on the north by the New Haven Green and the Yale University campus. The western edge borders the Dwight Street Historic District. The eastern and southern edges of the district abut areas of more modern development.

Many of the dwellings have been converted to commercial use. The Downtown Rawlins Historic District comprises the historic center of Rawlins, Wyoming. It comprises the area between Second and Sixth Streets and Front to Buffalo Streets and along 5th Street between West Spruce and West Cedar. The town owes much of its living to the Union Pacific Railway, which took advantage of spring in the Rawlins area to establish services there.
The Simpson County Courthouse, also known as the Old Simpson County Courthouse, is a building in Franklin, Kentucky located on US 31W and Kentucky Route 73. The courthouse was built in 1882 and was used as a courthouse until the completion of the new Franklin Justice Center in 2004. The original courthouse was destroyed by a fire on May 17, 1882, and many documents were lost in the flames. The current courthouse was built between 1882 and 1883. Wings were added to the courthouse in 1962 that attempted to match the style.
The Odd Fellows Temple of Frankfort, Kentucky is a three-story structure built in 1871 at 315 Saint Clair Street. Historically the top floor served as the fraternal lodge of the Odd Fellows, with the remainder of the building leased for commercial purposes.
