Hanover County Courthouse Historic District is a national historic district located at Hanover Courthouse, Hanover County, Virginia, USA. The district includes four contributing buildings in the county seat of Hanover Courthouse. They are the separately listed Hanover County Courthouse (1735), the old jail (1835), the clerk's office, and the Hanover Tavern now known as the Barksdale Theatre.
The Pittsylvania County Courthouse is located at 1 North Main Street in downtown Chatham, Virginia, USA. Built in 1853, this Greek Revival building was Pittsylvania County's third courthouse. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1987, because it was the scene of events leading to Ex parte Virginia, a United States Supreme Court case extending the Equal Protection Clause to state actions such as jury selection.
Nelson County Courthouse is a historic courthouse located at Lovingston, Nelson County, Virginia within the Lovingston Historic District. The original building opened in 1810. It is a rectangular, two-story stuccoed brick structure, with two additions: one of ten feet attached to the rear of the original structure and the other is a large lateral wing across the rear of the first addition. Both of these additions were constructed in 1940. The original structure was partially remodeled in 1968. It contains one large courtroom with a spectator gallery towards the rear. It was the first public building to be built after Nelson County's organization in 1807.
The Cumberland County Courthouse is a historic courthouse building located at Cumberland, Cumberland County, Virginia. It was built by Dabney Cosby, a master builder for Thomas Jefferson, in 1818. It is a brick, one-story, rectangular, gable-roofed courthouse. The building features the Tuscan order throughout and a tetrastyle portico. Also included are the contributing small, brick, one-story clerks office; the brick, two-story, gable-roofed former jail; and Confederate Civil War monument (1901).
Abingdon Glebe House is a historic home located near Gloucester, Gloucester County, Virginia. It was built around 1700, and is T-shaped brick structure with one-story hipped roof end pavilions flanking the central portion of the house. The central portion and rear ell are topped by steep gable roofs. It was extensively renovated about 1954. The house and surrounding glebe lands were owned by Abingdon Parish until they were confiscated by legislative act in 1802 as part of the Disestablishment. It was acquired by William Riddick of Gloucester in the 1980s, and was bequeathed to St. James On-the-Glebe Anglican Church, a parish of the Anglican Province of America, after Riddick's death in 2006.
Buchanan Historic District is a national historic district located at Buchanan, Botetourt County, Virginia. It encompasses 277 contributing buildings, 5 contributing sites, and 4 contributing structures in Buchanan and Pattonsburg on both sides of the James River. They include commercial, transportation-related, domestic, religious, and industrial resources associated with the community's development from the late-18th century through the late-20th century. Notable buildings include the Pattonsburg Mill (1838), Buchanan Presbyterian Church (1845), Trinity Episcopal Church (1842), Hotel Botetourt (1851), Sorrell House (1850), James Evans Mason Lodge (1884), Virginia Can Company complex (1903), "Oak Hill" (1840), Town Hall Municipal Building, Bank of Buchanan, Ransone's Drugstore, Buchanan Theatre (1919), and Buchanan High School (1928). The contributing sites include the James River & Kanawha Canal project site, Johnston-Boyd Cemetery (1835–1906), and Mountain View Cemetery (1854). The contributing structures include the Stone Arch Tunnel (1870s). Also located in the district is the separately listed Wilson Warehouse.
Wilson Warehouse is a historic combined dwelling, warehouse, and store building located at Buchanan, Botetourt County, Virginia. It was built in 1839, and is a two-story, six-bay, brick building in the Greek Revival style. It measures 54 feet by 48 feet
Fluvanna County Courthouse Historic District is a national historic district located at Palmyra, Fluvanna County, Virginia. The district encompasses four contributing buildings. The courthouse was built in 1830–1831, and is a two-story, brick building in the form of a tetrastyle Roman Doric temple. It is five bays deep. The other contributing buildings are a small lawyer's office used as the Fluvanna County library and the stone jail house (1829), now the county museum.
Gloucester Women's Club, also known as Long Bridge Ordinary, is a historic women's club located at Gloucester Courthouse, Gloucester County, Virginia. It was built about 1750, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, three-bay, gable roofed frame Colonial era dwelling. A lean-to addition was built in the 19th century. The building is believed to have been originally constructed for commercial purposes. The property hosted the county fair after 1913, and in 1919 the building and surrounding acre of land were acquired by the Gloucester Women's Club.

Madison County Courthouse is a historic courthouse located at Madison, serving Madison County, Virginia. It was built in 1828, and is a two-story, brick temple-form structure. On the facade the ground floor becomes an open arcade four-bays wide and one-bay deep. The gable roof is topped by a tall octagonal domed cupola. The building features a Tuscan order entablature with Tuscan pediments at either end.
