De La Salle University, also referred to as DLSU, De La Salle or La Salle, is a private, Catholic coeducational research university run by the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in Taft Avenue, Malate, Manila, Philippines. It was established by the Christian Brothers in 1911 as the De La Salle College (DLSC) in Nozaleda Street, Paco, Manila with Blimond Pierre Eilenbecker, FSC serving as director, and is the first De La Salle school in the Philippines. The institution moved to its present location in 1921. The college was granted university status on February 19, 1975 and is the oldest constituent of De La Salle Philippines (DLSP), a network of 16 educational institutions, established in 2006 replacing the De La Salle University System.

St. La Salle Hall is an H-shaped four-storey structure built in neoclassical style in the Philippines. It was built from 1920 to 1924 to serve as the new campus of De La Salle College due to lack of space of the previous campus in Paco, Manila, and to accommodate its increasing student population. It served as the grade school and high school building back when the college was still offering those levels.

It is released every first week of every month from September to August. Other publications of the university include Ang Pahayagang Plaridel, Malate Literary Folio, and Green & White.

WFAL Falcon Radio is overseen by faculty from Bowling Green State University's School of Mass Communications. Radyo Katipunan (87.9 MHz) is a low-power FM campus radio station owned and operated by the Jesuit Communications Foundation in coordination with the Ateneo de Manila University. Its studio is located at Sonolux Building along Seminary Drive, with its transmitter located within the university's Loyola campus; both are found in Katipunan Ave., Loyola Heights, Quezon City. Radyo Katipunan serves as a community station of the Ateneo campus. Radyo Katipunan airs Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including semestral breaks.
