Renville County is a county in the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of the 2010 United States Census the population was 15,730. Its county seat is Olivia.

It is owned by the Marcil-Black family of Fargo. N. B. Black bought the Forum in 1917; current chairman William "Bill" Marcil, Sr. is the husband of N. B. Black's great-granddaughter.

Birch Coulee Battlefield in Renville County, Minnesota, United States, was the site of the Battle of Birch Coulee, the costliest military engagement for U.S. forces during the Dakota War of 1862. It is now a historic site with self-guided trails and markers interpreting the battle from both sides. Birch Coulee was nominated to the National Register of Historic Places for having state-level significance in military history, and was listed in 1973.
The Historic Anderson House Hotel is a hotel and event venue in Wabasha, Minnesota, United States. The hotel opened in 1856 and was Minnesota's oldest continuously operating bed and breakfast inn west of the Mississippi River. Most of the furniture dates back to 1856 as well. The building was expanded in 1887. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Hurd House–Anderson Hotel in 1978 for having local significance in the theme of commerce. It was nominated for being a prominent and long-operating business originating in the years of Wabasha's rapid growth as a river and rail transportation hub. In 1982 it was also listed as a contributing property to the Wabasha Commercial Historic District.
Sacred Heart Cathedral, Sacred Heart School and Christian Brothers Home comprise a former Roman Catholic diocesan complex in the Central Hillside neighborhood of Duluth, Minnesota, United States. Sacred Heart Cathedral was built from 1894 to 1896 and served as the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Duluth until 1957, after which it became a parish church. Sacred Heart School was built in 1904 and the Christian Brothers Home—a monastic residence for the school faculty—was built in 1907.

The Church of the Sacred Heart is a historic Roman Catholic church building in Freeport, Minnesota, United States. The church was constructed from 1905 to 1906 as the third and largest building to house a congregation formed by the community's German American settlers in 1881. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991 as Church of the Sacred Heart (Catholic) for its local significance in the theme of social history. It was nominated for demonstrating the central role played by the Catholic church in Freeport and many other Central Minnesota communities settled by German immigrants.
Sacred Heart Public School is a former school facility in Sacred Heart, Minnesota, United States. The original building was constructed in 1901 and expanded in 1929, 1953, 1964, and 1974. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014 for having local significance in education, entertainment/recreation, and social history. Its construction history reflects the 20th-century growth and educational expansion of small-town public schools, while its 1929 auditorium/gymnasium also served as Sacred Heart's primary venue for public functions. The school closed in 2009, though the building is still used for local events.
