Houston High School was built in 1921, as a two-story, brick building on a raised basement. It sits on a concrete foundation and has native stone architectural details. [5] : 5 The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. [3]

The Midtown Historic District is a historic district in the city of Mobile, Alabama, United States. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 29, 2001, with a small boundary increase on November 18, 2020 It is roughly bounded by Taylor Avenue, Government Street, Houston Street, Kenneth Street, Springhill Avenue, and Florida Street. The district covers 467 acres (1.89 km2) and contains 1,270 contributing buildings. The majority of the contributing buildings range in age from the 1880s to the 1950s and cover a wide variety of architectural styles. The district was significantly affected by a tornado on December 25, 2012.

The Ida May is a Chesapeake Bay skipjack, built in 1906 at Urbanna or Deep Creek, Virginia. She is a 42.2-foot-long (12.9 m), two-sail bateau, or "V"-bottomed deadrise type of centerboard sloop. She has a beam of 14.4 feet (4.4 m), a depth of 3.3 feet (1 m), and a net register tonnage of 7. She is one of the 35 surviving traditional Chesapeake Bay skipjacks and a member of the last commercial sailing fleet in the United States. She is located at Chance, Somerset County, Maryland.

High Hill School, also known as High Hill Community Building, is a historic school building located at High Hill, Montgomery County, Missouri. It was built in 1867, and is two-story, Greek Revival style frame building with a gable roof. It is topped by a six-sided belfry with ogee-arched louvered openings and hexagonal roof. It housed a school until 1954, after which it became a community center.
J. Huston Tavern, also known as the Arrow Rock Tavern and The Old Tavern, is a historic tavern building located at Arrow Rock, Saline County, Missouri. It was built in 1834 by Judge Joseph Huston, and is a 2 1/2-story, Federal style brick building. A store with a second-floor ballroom was added in 1840. The tavern is the oldest continuously serving restaurant west of the Mississippi River.
The Old Fort Madison High School, also known as the Fort Madison Junior High School and Fort Madison Middle School, is a historic building located in Fort Madison, Iowa, United States. Between 1910 and 1920, the population of Fort Madison increased 35%. There was also a belief that students from the surrounding rural area would increasingly attend the city's high school. By early 1922, there was a desire to replace the 1890 Romanesque Revival high school building. A bond referendum passed in the early summer of that year, and the school district engaged the Kansas City, Missouri architectural firm of Owen, Payson and Carswell to design a new building. The building was mostly completed in mid-September 1923, with the auditorium/gymnasium located in the middle of the structure, completed in December. The three-story brick structure features a prominent front entrance at the center of the main facade, and at the roofline, there are crenulations, crockets, quatrefoil panels, and elaborate heraldic panels. Additions were built on the back of the building in 1946 and in 1959. It housed the high school program from 1923 to 1958, when the present high school building was completed. From 1958 to 2012 the building housed the junior high/middle school program. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. In 2016, the building was converted into an apartment building with 38 units.
