Hyderabad Central is a shopping mall in Hyderabad, India, located on the Punjagutta road. [1] The mall includes Marks and Spencer, as well as a range of movies, music, books, coffee shops, a food court, supermarket and restaurants. [1] The shopping space is spread over four levels, [1] with PVR Cinemas located on the top (fifth) floor with a total area of 250,000 sq.ft.

The mall was launched in November 2004 when the owners, Pantaloon Retail (India) Limited, at the same time also announced plans to create 12 to 15 malls across India within two years. [2] An investment of some 701 million rupees (approx. US$15.5 million) was made in this mall, which was the second large-scale mall in the country, the first being in Bangalore. In 2005, it was alleged that plans only showed four theatres, however after the construction of five theatres a lengthy legal battle ensued. [3]

NTR Gardens

NTR Gardens is a small public, urban park of 36 acres adjacent to Hussain Sagar lake in Hyderabad, India. It is named after the former Chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. T. Rama Rao. Constructed in several phases since 1999, the area that is predominantly a park is geographically located in the centre of the city, and is close to other tourist attractions such as Birla Mandir, Necklace Road and Lumbini Park. It is maintained by the Buddha Purnima Project Authority that functions under the directives of the Government of Telangana.

Secunderabad Junction railway station Major railway station in Telangana, India

Secunderabad Junction is a major intercity junction railway station and a commuter rail hub in the Hyderabad urban area. In the city centre, the station is in the South Central Railway zone of Indian Railways. Built in 1874 by the Nizam of Hyderabad during the British era, it was the main station of Nizam's Guaranteed State Railway until the Kachiguda railway station opened in 1916. The station was taken over by Indian Railways in 1951, when NGSR was nationalized. Its main portico and concourse are influenced by Nizamesque architecture. The station, which resembles a fort, is a tourist attraction in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

Girangaon Area in Mumbai, India

Girangaon was a name of an area now part of central Mumbai, India, which at one time had almost 130 textile mills, with the majority being cotton mills. The mills of Girangaon contributed significantly to the prosperity and growth of Mumbai during the later nineteenth century and for the transformation of Mumbai into a major industrial metropolis. Girangaon covered an area of 600 acres (2.4 km2), not including the workers' housing. The mill workers lived in a community, and they fostered a unique culture which shaped Mumbai at the turn of the twentieth century. This textile industry flourished until the early 2000s after which most of the mills were shut down, as the owners deemed them unprofitable and declared they were incapable of paying their workers' wages.

Madras Central Prison

Madras Central Prison was one of the oldest prisons in India. It was located in Chennai in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It became operational during the British rule in India in 1837. Prisoners from the prison were moved to the newly constructed Puzhal Central Prison starting in 2006. The prison was 172 years old when it was demolished in June 2009.

Durgam Cheruvu

Durgam Cheruvu, also known as Raidurgam Cheruvu, is a freshwater lake located in Rangareddy district, Telangana, India. The lake, which is spread over 83 acres (34 ha), is located near the city of Hyderabad. The lake is also known as Secret Lake because it is hidden between the localities of Jubilee Hills and Madhapur. The Durgam Cheruvu Bridge, which traverses the lake, was inaugurated in September 2020.

Apart from that accomplishment she also made award-winning films like, Miss Beatty's Children (1992) and Dance Like a Man (2003) and several documentaries.

Mangalore Central railway station Railway station in Mangalore, India

Mangalore Central is the main railway terminus in the city of Mangalore. It is one of the major railway stations in Karnataka state and it is the biggest terminal station under Palakkad railway division. There is also another railway station named Mangalore Junction railway station previously known as Kankanady railway station. Mangalore region provides the highest freight revenue to the Palakkad division which sums up to 90 percent of the total revenue which Palakkad division generates. Mangalore Central comes under the Southern Railway and is also providing connectivity for Konkan Railway and South Western Railway of the Indian Railways. It is one of the 5 central railway stations of India. The residents of Mangaluru want their district railway jurisdiction to be handed over to South Western Railway from the existing Palakkad division in Southern Railway.
