Maurya Lok Complex or Maurya Lok is one of the oldest and major business districts and shopping areas of Patna, India. It contains shopping complexes, restaurants and many government offices. It is controlled by Patna Municipal Corporation. [2] It is considered as one of the earliest shopping complex of Patna and it was established by Sumitra Devi, the first women cabinet minister of Bihar. [3]

Bihta is a town and Block in Patna district, Bihar state, India. Bihta is part of Maner Assembly constituency and Pataliputra Lok Sabha constituency. It is located around 30 km (19 mi) west of Patna. Bihta is also an upcoming satellite town of Patna. It lies 7 km (4.3 mi) from Bihta railway station.

Patliputra Junction, Station code (PPTA), is a railway station in the Rukanpura area in the West End of Patna, Bihar. The station, which is governed by East Central Railway and managed by Danapur railway division, lies on the Patna–Sonepur–Hajipur section. Located 12 kilometres north-west of Patna Junction, it has primarily been developed to ease pressure on the city's other two railway stations, through which roughly 350 trains pass daily. It is located near Bailey Road, an important western thoroughfare in Patna. Patliputra junction has become the fourth terminal of the Danapur railway division after Patna Junction, Danapur station and Rajendranagar Terminal.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Bihar Museum</span> Art, archaeology, and childrens museum in Bihar, India

Bihar Museum is a state museum located in Patna. It was partially opened in August 2015. 'The children's museum', the main entrance area, and an orientation theatre were the only parts opened to the public in August 2015. Later, in October 2017 remaining galleries were also opened. More than 100 artifacts were transferred here from Patna Museum.

Dak Bungalow Crossing is a major commercial intersection, entertainment center and neighborhood in the central section of Patna. It is located at the junction of Bailey Road and Fraser Road. It is one of the busiest pedestrian and automobile areas in the city of Patna. Lok Nayak Jay Prakash Commercial Complex is located on the south west corner of the cross road - which was the erstwhile location of historic Dak Bungalow of Patna. South east corner has historic departmental stores of Patna such as Roshan Brothers, J.G.Carr & Sons and Khanna Stores. Multiple showrooms and shops are lined up on all sides of the crossroad.
