Kozhikode, official name until 1990 was Calicut, is a city along the Malabar Coast in the state of Kerala in India. Known as the City of Spices, Kozhikode is listed among the UNESCO's Cities of Literature.
Kochi, also known by its former name Cochin, is a major port city along the Malabar Coast of India bordering the Laccadive Sea. It is part of the district of Ernakulam in the state of Kerala. The city is also commonly referred to as Ernakulam. Edappally is a ward of Kochi, Kerala. The name is also used to refer to adjacent wards of Kalamassery and Thrikkakkara municipalities. Edappally is a major commercial centre as well as a prominent residential region. Edappally junction is one of the busiest junctions in the city.

LuLu Mall, Kochi is a shopping mall located in Edappally, Kochi, Kerala. Spanning 17 acres (6.9 ha) with a total built up area of 0.73 million Sq ft. It contains around 280 outlets, including food courts, restaurants, family entertainment zones, a multiplex, ice skating rink, gaming arena, beauty parlors, a toy train joy ride and bowling alley. The mall was opened in March 2013 by then Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri Oommen Chandy.
Hilite Mall is a shopping mall located in the Kozhikode district in the malabar region of Kerala, India. Mall of Travancore (MOT) is a shopping mall located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. Developed by Malabar Group, it is the first shopping mall in Thiruvananthapuram. The Mall was initiated by Malabar Developers in 2014 and was completed in 2018. It covers an area of 700,000 square feet (65,000 m2). This is the second largest mall in Thiruvananthapuram after the Lulu Mall. The mall has three floors of retail space, comprising more than 150 retailers.
Lulu Mall Thiruvananthapuram is a shopping mall located in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala, India. With a total built up area of 2,000,000 sq ft (190,000 m2), it is one of the largest mall in India and biggest mall in Kerala. The shopping mall is located along the side of National Highway 66 at Aakkulam near Technopark the biggest IT park in Kerala. The mall has around 300 national and international brands and 12 anchor stores including a Lulu Hypermarket, largest indoor entertainment zone in the country, a multilevel car parking space for more than 3,800 cars. There have been several outbreaks of Nipah virus in Kerala, some of which have been traced to fruit bats. The NIV Pune confirmed the first case of Nipah virus in Kerala in May 2018. A total of 21 Nipah virus infected individuals died between 2018 and 2024.

South Malabar refers to a geographical area of the southwestern coast of India covering some parts of the present-day Kerala state. South Malabar covers the regions included in present-day Kozhikode taluk of Kozhikode district, the whole area of Malappuram district, Chavakkad taluk of Thrissur district, and Palakkad district, excluding parts of Chittur taluk. The Fort Kochi region of Kochi city also historically belongs to South Malabar. The term South Malabar refers to the region of the erstwhile Malabar District south to the river Korapuzha, and bears a high cultural similarity to both the Cochin and the North Malabar regions.

Lulu Mall, Palakkad is a shopping mall located in Palakkad, Kerala, India. It is the third lulu mall in the state of Kerala, located on the Kochi-Salem national highway, around 9km away from city centre in Kannadi, spanning at 2 lakh sq.ft. The mall was inaugurated in December 2023 and houses shops for both domestic and international brands as well as a multi-cuisine food court among other amenities. The property is owned and managed by Abu Dhabi based LuLu Group International.
