Marriott International owns over 36 hotel and timeshare brands with 8,785 locations and 1,597,380 rooms across its network(As of 2023). Marriott International is headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland. The company is the successor to the hospitality division of the Marriott Corporation, founded by J. Willard Marriott (1900–1985) and his wife Alice Marriott (1907–2000).

The hotel was closed for five weeks and reopened to the public on 8 September 2003.

The Tampa Convention Center is a mid-sized convention center located in downtown Tampa, Florida at the mouth of the Hillsborough River. It has both waterfront views of Tampa Bay and views of the city's skyline. Harbour Island is across the eponymous bridge on the other side of the Garrison Channel. The center is connected to the neighboring Channelside District and Ybor City via the TECO Line Streetcar, which has a station across the street. The center opened in 1990 and encompasses 600,000 square feet (56,000 m2) in total. It has a 200,000 square feet (19,000 m2) exhibit hall, a ballroom capable of accommodating over 2,000 guests, and 36 meeting rooms that can be adjusted to various sizes. The facility hosts over 100 events per year.
The JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong is a hotel of JW Marriott Hotels. It is located in the Admiralty area of Hong Kong, on the border of Wan Chai and Central, on Hong Kong Island. The hotel opened on 27 February 1989 in the Pacific Place complex. It is the first Asian and flagship hotel of the Marriott Hotel Group. JW Marriott Indianapolis is a hotel in downtown Indianapolis, adjacent to the Indiana Convention Center. The new JW Marriott Indianapolis is part of the $450 million Marriott Place, consisting of five Marriott hotels all connected to the Indiana Convention Center. The City of Indianapolis contributed $48 million to the project. The hotel is 34 floors and 376 feet (115 m) tall, making it the 7th-tallest building in Indianapolis and tallest hotel in Indiana. The facility also has a 950 space underground parking garage. It is the largest JW Marriott hotel in the United States based on its 1,013 guest rooms and is owned and managed by White Lodging.
The JW Marriott Grand Rapids is a hotel located in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was the first JW Marriott Hotel in the Midwest and is the sixth tallest building in Grand Rapids. Its theme is based on Grand Rapids's sister cities: Omihachiman, Japan; Bielsko-Biala, Poland; Perugia, Italy; Ga District, Ghana; and Zapopan, Mexico. When the hotel was first opened, Amway Hotel Corporation hired photographer Dan Watts to travel to each of the sister cities and photograph them for the property. Each floor of the hotel features photography from one of the cities and is unique to that floor.

The 357-room hotel, being built at MRC Nagar on the seafront of Chennai facing the Bay of Bengal near the Adyar estuary, is being developed at a cost of ₹ 6,200 million and forms part of Marriott International Inc. Initially planned to open in 2005, the project was delayed due to lack of funds and regulatory issues.

The JW Marriott Edmonton Ice District & Residences is a mixed-use skyscraper in Edmonton, Alberta as part of the downtown Ice District. It is a combination of a JW Marriott hotel in the lower section, with residential condos named Legends Private Residences in the upper section. Construction began in November 2014 and the hotel opened on 1 August 2019. The tower became the tallest building in Edmonton on 3 November 2017 and held that status until it was surpassed by the Stantec Tower in May 2018, en route to topping out its 56th floor at its final height of 192 metres (630 ft) on 20 March 2018.
