Conifer is an unincorporated community in Jefferson County, Colorado, United States. Conifer is located along U.S. Route 285 in the foothills west of Denver.
The Jefferson Market Branch of the New York Public Library, once known as the Jefferson Market Courthouse, is located at 425 Avenue of the Americas, on the southwest corner of West 10th Street, in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York City, on a triangular plot formed by Greenwich Avenue and West 10th Street. AME Church of New Haven is a historic African Methodist Episcopal church located at 225 Selma Street in New Haven, Missouri. The church was built in 1893 for New Haven's AME congregation; founded in 1865, it was one of the first black churches in the city. Church member Anna Bell campaigned heavily for donations to build the new church building; Bell was also one of the new church's original trustees. After her death, the building was named the Anna Bell Chapel in her honor. The church, located in a predominantly African-American section of New Haven, maintained a congregation of roughly 20 people until 1960; during this time, it also served as a community center for the city's African-American community. After 1960, the church's congregation declined, and by the early 1990s the church had only four members.
Morris Frederick Bell was an American architect known primarily for his institutional buildings but also for his domestic and commercial structures. His best known work is the David R. Francis Quadrangle the historic center of the University of Missouri including Jesse Hall. He also designed state correctional schools in Boonville, Chillicothe, and Tipton; and state mental hospitals in Fulton, Higginsville, and Nevada. Bell, a democrat, was also active in civic life. He trained and employed William Lincoln Garver as an assistant. Garver would later go on to have a stand-alone career.
Claud D. Grove and Berenice Sinclair Grove House, also known as the Hagener House and Edward G. Sinclair House , is a historic home located at Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri. It was built about 1912, and is a two-story, Colonial Revival style brick dwelling with a projecting center gable. It has a slate hipped roof with shed dormer. It features a one-story front porch supported by one square and two round Tuscan order columns.
Lohman's Landing Building, also known as Jefferson Landing Building, is a historic commercial building located in Jefferson Landing State Historic Site at Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri. It was built about 1834, and is a 3 1/2-story, rectangular limestone building. It measures 71 feet, 6 inches, long and 50 feet deep.
