Mill Hill is a historic neighborhood located within the city of Trenton in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is considered to be part of Downtown Trenton. The Mill Hill Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

It is the largest known Middle Woodland village of its type on the East Coast of the United States. Significant evidence suggests that the Delaware River floodplain was occupied by Paleoindian people for a long period. It was inhabited between 500 BC and 500 AD. It has been a source of controversy and debate around early development.

The Lawrence Township Historic District is a 550-acre (220 ha) historic district encompassing the community of Lawrenceville in Lawrence Township, Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 14, 1972 for its significance in architecture, landscape architecture, literature, military history, and transportation. The district includes 45 contributing buildings.
The Howell Living History Farm, also known as the Joseph Phillips Farm, is a 130-acre (53 ha) living open-air museum located north of Titusville in the Pleasant Valley section of Hopewell Township in Mercer County, New Jersey. The farm was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 2, 1977, for its significance in agriculture and architecture. The farm was included in the Pleasant Valley Historic District on June 14, 1991.
The Old Eagle Tavern is a historic building located at 431, 433 South Broad Street at the corner of Ferry Street in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey. The building was built in 1765 by Robert Waln. The building operated as a tavern and hotel from 1765 to 1896. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 3, 1972 for its architectural, commercial, and political significance. The building is also a contributing property of the Trenton Ferry Historic District, which was listed on June 26, 2013.
Harbourton is an unincorporated community located within Hopewell Township in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is located along County Route 579 at the intersection with Harbourton-Mount Airy Road. The Harbourton Historic District, encompassing the community, was listed on the state and national registers of historic places in 1974.
Pleasant Valley is an unincorporated community located within Hopewell Township in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The Howell Living History Farm, also known as the Joseph Phillips Farm, is located in the community.
The Kingston Mill Historic District is a 49-acre (20 ha) historic district in Kingston, New Jersey. It is roughly bounded by the Millstone, River, and Princeton-Kingston Roads in the townships of Princeton in Mercer County, South Brunswick in Middlesex County, and Franklin in Somerset County. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 10, 1986 for its significance in engineering, exploration/settlement, industry, and transportation. The district includes 16 contributing buildings and 2 contributing structures.
The Mountain Avenue Historic District is a stretch of historic houses on Mountain Avenue in Princeton, New Jersey that date to the 19th and early 20th centuries.
The King's Highway Historic District covers the portions of U.S. Route 206 and New Jersey Route 27 in New Jersey that connect Lawrenceville with Kingston through Princeton. This historic roadway dates to colonial times and was a portion of the King's Highway that was laid out by order of Charles II of England to connect Boston with Charleston. It is lined with many institutions and sites that have played an important role in the History of the United States, including Princeton University and the Princeton Theological Seminary.
The State House Historic District encompasses many historic buildings along West State and Willow Streets in Trenton, New Jersey, including the New Jersey State House, Old Barracks Museum, and the Old Masonic Temple.
The Stockton Street Historic District covers both sides of Stockton Street, from Railroad Avenue to Summit Street, and a portion of Rogers Avenue in Hightstown, New Jersey. It is notable for its Victorian homes, First Methodist Church, and the Hightstown Civil War monument. It is also significant for its association with the introduction of rail service to New Jersey, as the first railroad in the United States to connect two major cities, New York and Philadelphia, originally ran along what is now Railroad Avenue at the eastern end of the district. In 1832, the John Bull, the first locomotive in the country, provided the first steam-powered passenger rail service in the country, stopping at Stockton Street. In July 2015, Hightstown became a Preserve America community which enhances historic preservation, including the district.
The Bear Tavern Road–Jacob's Creek Crossing Rural Historic District covers the farms along Bear Tavern Road north of its intersection with Jacob's Creek Road, as well as the bridge and intersection itself. Bear Tavern Road dates to 1729 and George Washington led the Continental Army along it in 1776, on his way from crossing the Delaware to the Battle of Trenton. The district still reflects its 18th and 19th century patterns of development.
The Trenton Ferry Historic District is a historic mixed-use urban working class neighborhood primarily composed of modest row houses, schools, churches, and commercial buildings. The neighborhood has roots in the 18th century but the majority of its fabric dates to the 19th and early 20th centuries. The district has few modern intrusions and has retained its historic character. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 26, 2013. It includes 581 contributing buildings and three contributing sites.
Mechlin's Corner Tavern, also known as Peter Mechling's Corner Tavern, is a historic building located at the intersection of County Route 625 and County Route 579 in the Mechlings Corner, New Jersey section of Union Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey and near Pittstown. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 1, 1974, for its significance in architecture and commerce.
