South Korean singer Jungkook has released one studio album and twelve singles. As a member of South Korean boy band BTS, he performed the solo songs "Begin", "Euphoria", and "My Time" for the band and recorded the soundtrack song "Stay Alive" for the BTS-based webtoon 7Fates: Chakho. In 2022, he featured on American singer Charlie Puth's single "Left and Right" and released the single "Dreamers" for the FIFA World Cup soundtrack.
Jungkook made his official solo debut in 2023 with the single "Seven" featuring Latto, which debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, the Global 200, and the Global Excl. U.S. charts, making him the first Korean solo artist to do so. His follow-up single "3D", featuring Jack Harlow, debuted at number one on the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S., and number five on the Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart, making Jungkook the first South Korean solo artist to achieve two consecutive top-five entries on the latter. His third single "Standing Next to You" also debuted at number one on the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. and at number five on the Hot 100. All three singles supported his debut studio album, Golden (2023), which sold over 2.7 million copies worldwide, debuted atop the South Korean, Belgian, French, Lithuanian, and Japanese album charts, and reached the top 10 in 14 countries including the US Billboard 200.

The group continued their success with the release of Square Two on November 1, which peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart and number two on the World Albums chart. The single album included "Playing with Fire", which reached number three and sold more than 2.5 million digital copies in South Korea. On June 22, 2017, Blackpink released the single "As If It's Your Last", which also peaked at number three and reached 2.5 million certified downloads in South Korea. On August 30, the group made their Japanese debut with the EP Blackpink, which featured Japanese-language versions of the group's existing tracks. The EP was a commercial success, debuting atop the Oricon Albums Chart and selling over 80,000 copies in Japan.

"Left and Right" is a song by American singer Charlie Puth featuring South Korean singer Jungkook of BTS, released through Atlantic Records on June 24, 2022, as the third single from Puth's third studio album Charlie. It was written by Puth and Jacob Kasher Hindlin with the former also serving as producer. Available digitally and as a limited edition CD and cassette, the duet marks the second time Puth and Jungkook have collaborated, the first being their performance of "We Don't Talk Anymore" at the Genie Music Awards in 2018.
