Kochi Tuskers Kerala (KTK) played fourteen matches in the 2011 Indian Premier League, with 20 players representing it in these matches. [1] KTK was a franchise cricket team based in Kochi, Kerala, which was a part of the 2011 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). [2] The IPL is a professional league for Twenty20 (T20) cricket in India. The team was one of two new franchises added to the IPL, alongside the Pune Warriors India; however it was terminated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for "breaching its terms of agreement". [3] [4] It was owned by Kochi Cricket Pvt Ltd., [5] captained by Mahela Jayawardene, and coached by Geoff Lawson. [6] Their first match was against Royal Challengers Bangalore, [7] whereas their first win was against Mumbai Indians. [8]

In total, KTK played fourteen IPL matches. [9] Four KTK players took part in all fourteen matches: Brad Hodge, Parthiv Patel, Ravindra Jadeja, and R. P. Singh. [10] Brendon McCullum, who has played in thirteen matches out of the team's 14 IPL fixtures, was the leading run-scorer with 357 runs. [11] His score of 81, made against Mumbai Indians, was the highest total by an KTK batsman. [12] Brad Hodge had the highest batting average, [13] whereas Mahela Jayawardene scored the most number of half-centuries for KTK with three. [14] RP Singh claimed more wickets than any other KTK player, having taken 13. [15] The best bowling average was Brad Hodge's 11.00, though among bowlers who have bowled more than 20 overs, RP Singh had the best average: 26.53. [16] Brad Hodge also has the best bowling figures in an innings; he claimed four wickets against Rajasthan Royals, while only conceding thirteen runs. [17] Parthiv Patel tookn eight catches and has taken one stump as wicket-keeper for KTK. [18] Mahela Jayawardene and RP Singh has claimed the highest number of catches among fielders, both taking six. [19]

In September 2018, he announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. He was a member of the Indian team that won the 2007 T20 World Cup.

Ranganath Vinay Kumar is a former cricketer who has represented India at Test, One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 levels. He is a right-arm medium fast bowler who played domestic cricket for Karnataka and also in the Indian Premier League for Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders. He captained Karnataka to two consecutive Ranji Trophy titles in 2013–14 and 2014–15 seasons. In November 2018, he played in his 100th match in the Ranji Trophy. In August 2019, he moved from Karnataka to Puducherry, ahead of the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy season. During the first round of matches in the tournament, he took his 400th wicket in the Ranji Trophy. Raiphi Vincent Gomez is an Indian cricketer who played for Kerala and Puducherry in domestic cricket. He is an all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right arm medium-fast. He was bought by Rajasthan Royals ahead of the 2009 season of Indian Premier League making him the second Kerala player to be part of an IPL franchise after Sreesanth. Raiphi has also represented India U-17 team and India U-19 team.

Sekhar, the mentor of IPL franchise Delhi Daredevils, was said to have been tracking Juneja even before his debut and drafted him into the Daredevils squad in January 2012.

Padmanabhan Prasanth is an Indian First-class cricketer who plays for Kerala.

Mattakandathil Dineshan Nidheesh is an Indian cricketer who represents Kerala in domestic cricket. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler.
