Wyoming State Code

Wyoming enacted the "Code of the West" as the State Code of Wyoming on March 3, 2010. [1] The code includes the following:

  1. Live each day with courage;
  2. Take pride in your work;
  3. Always finish what you start;
  4. Do what has to be done;
  5. Be tough, but fair;
  6. When you make a promise, keep it;
  7. Ride for the brand;
  8. Talk less, say more;
  9. Remember that some things are not for sale;
  10. Know where to draw the line.

The secretary of state of Wyoming is the state secretary of state of the U.S. state of Wyoming. When the governor is traveling out-of-state, the secretary of state serves as acting governor. The 2022 Wyoming Senate election took place on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, with the primary election held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Wyoming voters selected state senators in the 16 odd-numbered districts of the Senate to serve four-year terms.

All 62 members of the Wyoming House of Representatives were elected on November 8, 2022, as part of the 2022 Wyoming elections. Primary elections were held on August 16. Republicans expanded their supermajority, gaining six seats.
