The states and federal territories of Malaysia are the principal administrative divisions of Malaysia. Malaysia is a federation of 13 states (Negeri) and 3 federal territories.
Tenaga Nasional Berhad, also known as Tenaga Nasional or simply Tenaga, is the Malaysian multinational electric company and is the only electric utility company in Peninsular Malaysia and also the largest publicly listed power company in Southeast Asia with MYR 182.60 billion worth of assets. It serves over 10.3 million customers throughout Peninsular Malaysia and the East Malaysian state of Sabah through Sabah Electricity.
Johor Corporation (JCorp) is Johor’s principal development institution for the State of Johor, Malaysia. Headquartered in Johor Bahru, its operations extend across multiple countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, Australia, Thailand, Cambodia and Bangladesh.
The Malaysian Trades Union Congress, is a national trade union centre in Malaysia. It was formed in 1949 and was originally known as the Malayan Trades Union Council. It then changed its name to the Malayan Trades Union Congress in 1958, and then to its current name with the formation of Malaysia.
The Congress of Union of Employees in the Public and Civil Services Malaysia, abbreviated CUEPACS, is a national trade union centre in Malaysia. It has a membership of 1,200,000.
The National Film Development Corporation Malaysia, abbreviated FINAS, is the central government agency and governing body for the film industry of Malaysia. Its role is to regulate economic and commercial matters related to the film industry in Malaysia and responsible for film policies and programs to ensure the economic, cultural and educational development of the Malaysian film industry as well as providing funds to filmmakers and film studios. FINAS is similar to the Film Development Council of the Philippines in the Philippines and Motion Picture Association of America in the United States. In 2013, the corporation was merged with Filem Negara Malaysia (FNM) to form a sole film agency.
The Ministry of Home Affairs, abbreviated KDN, MOHA, is a ministry of the Government of Malaysia that is responsible for home affairs: law enforcement, public security, public order, population registry, immigration, foreign workers, management of societies, anti-drug, publication / printing / distribution of printed materials, film control, management of volunteer, rehabilitation and implementation of punishment.
The Ministry of Defence, abbreviated MINDEF or KEMENTAH, is a ministry of the Government of Malaysia that is responsible for defence, national security, army, navy, hydrography, air force, armed forces, intelligence services, counterintelligence, military intelligence, national service, and veterans affairs.

The Prime Minister's Department is a federal government ministry in Malaysia. Its objective is "determining the services of all divisions are implemented according to policy, legislation / regulations and current guidelines". It is headed by the Prime Minister of Malaysia followed by other Minister in the Prime Minister's Department. The Department consists of the Prime Minister's Office, the Deputy Prime Minister's Office and more than 50 other government agencies and entities. The Prime Minister's Department was established on July 1957. Its headquarters are in Perdana Putra, Putrajaya.
The Ministry of Finance, abbreviated MOF, is a ministry of the Government of Malaysia that is charged with the responsibility for government expenditure and revenue raising. The ministry's role is to develop economic policy and prepare the Malaysian federal budget. The Ministry of Finance also oversees financial legislation and regulation. Each year in October, the Minister of Finance presents the Malaysian federal budget to the Parliament.
The Ministry of Transport, abbreviated MOT, is a ministry of the Government of Malaysia that is responsible for transport: road transport, civil aviation, road safety, port authority, maritime, air accident investigation, logistic and maritime safety. The ministry is headquartered in Putrajaya.
The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Costs of Living, abbreviated KPDN, is a ministry of the Government of Malaysia that is responsible for domestic trade, living costs, co-operatives, consumerism, franchise and others.
The Ministry of Human Resources, abbreviated KESUMA or MOHR, is a ministry of the Government of Malaysia that is responsible for skills development, labour, occupational safety and health, trade unions, industrial relations, industrial court, labour market information and analysis, social security. On 4 March 2024, the ministry was rebranded and started using the official acronym of KESUMA for all official business related to the ministry.

Sarawak Energy Berhad is the state owned electric utility company of the State of Sarawak. It is one of Malaysia's three electrical companies, the other two being Tenaga Nasional serving Peninsular Malaysia, and Sabah Electricity which serves the state of Sabah and territory of Labuan.

The Ministry of Federal Territories(Malay: Kementerian Wilayah Persekutuan; Jawi: كمنترين ولايه ڤرسكوتوان), abbreviated KWP, was a ministry and is now a department under the Prime Minister's Department of the Government of Malaysia that is in charge of overseeing the administration and development of all three Federal Territories in Malaysia; Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and Putrajaya.
The National Sports Council of Malaysia, is a government agency and statutory body under the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Government of Malaysia which governs the sporting activities in Malaysia. It was established under National Sports Council of Malaysia Act 1971 and launched by the second Prime Minister of Malaysia, Abdul Razak Hussein on 21 February 1972.
