Cosquín Rock is an Argentine music festival, held annually since 2001. It is currently held in Santa María de Punilla, Córdoba. In Argentina, it takes place in February during the summer, and it is one of the most popular music festivals in the country. Many important national rock singers and groups participate in the festival, along with some of the most important international rock bands, mostly from Spanish-speaking countries like Spain, Mexico, and Uruguay. In the beginning, it was focused only on national rock bands. However, throughout the years, the festival has also included bands from different places and of different genres, such as reggae, rap, cumbia, and cuarteto, among others.

The Morenada is an Andean folk dance whose origins are still under debate. This dance is practiced mainly in Bolivia as well as in Peru and in recent years with Bolivian immigration in Chile, Argentina and other countries.

Mariano Raffo is an Argentine film director. He has made short films, music videos and documentaries.

The Maluma World Tour was the first headlining concert tour by Colombian reggaeton singer Maluma, in support of his second studio album, Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy (2015). The tour, which visited cities across Latin America, Spain, Europe, Israel, the Caribbean, Canada and the United States, began on May 14, 2016 in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México at the Estadio Carta Blanca, and ended on December 15, 2017 in Ciudad de México at the Mexico City Arena.

RockOut Fest is a music festival of different styles but mainly rock, born in São Paulo in 2008. After two versions there, the Chilean producer Transistor bought and exported the brand to Chile to do it October 9, 2010, at the Club Hípico in Santiago de Chile, with bands like Queens of the Stone Age, Incubus, Linkin Park and Pixies as headliners, as well as sideshows with Rage Against the Machine, The Mars Volta and Suicidal Tendencies. After the first successful release, a second version was released in 2011 with Faith No More, Megadeth, Alice In Chains, Down, Chris Cornell, Stone Temple Pilots, Snoop Dogg, Sonic Youth, Primus and Damian Marley This time as headliners on 12 and 13 November.

<i>Carnaval</i> (2024 film) 2024 Peruvian film

Carnaval is a 2024 Peruvian documentary film written and directed by Gabriel Tejada and María José Osorio. It reviews the history of the Cajamarca festival from its origins to the present day and whose gastronomy, music and characters unite an entire town. It premiered on February 1, 2024, in Cajamarca theaters.
