Vietnamese National Football Super Cup, also called the Thaco National Football Super Cup due to sponsorship reasons, is Vietnamese football's annual match contested between the champions of the previous V.League 1 season and the holders of the Vietnamese Cup. If the V.League 1 champions also won the Vietnamese Cup, then the league runners-up provide the opposition. The fixture was first played in the 1998–99 season.
The 2010 Vietnamese Cup was the 18th edition of the Vietnamese National Cup. The contest began on 23 January 2010 and finished on 28 August 2010.
The 2011 Vietnamese Cup was the 19th edition of the Vietnamese National Cup. It started on 8 January 2011 and finished on 27 August 2011.
The 2012 Vietnamese Cup was the 20th edition of the Vietnamese National Cup. It started on 18 December 2011 and finished on 29 August 2012.
The 2013 Vietnamese Cup was the 21st edition of the Vietnamese National Cup. It began on the 16 March 2013 and ended on 5 September 2013.

The 2015 National Cup is the 23rd edition of the Vietnamese National Cup. It will be sponsored by Kienlongbank, and known as the Kienlongbank National Cup for sponsorship purposes. It began on the 4 April 2015 and will finish on 26 September 2015.

This year's competition, which features 24 teams including V.League 1's 14 teams and National First Division's 10 teams, ran until September 29.
