List of hotels in Ireland

According to the Irish Hotels Federation (IHF), it represents nearly 1,000 hotels and guesthouses in Ireland. [1] This is a list of notable hotels in Ireland, mostly historic hotels, or four or five-star modern hotels. It is intended they are covered in multiple secondary sources. They are arranged by the Counties of Ireland. Hotels and guesthouses with a Michelin Star includes: K Club and Wild Honey Inn.

Kanturk is a town in the north west of County Cork, Ireland. It is situated at the confluence of the Allua (Allow) and Dallow (Dalua) rivers, which stream further on as tributaries to the River Blackwater. It is about 50 kilometres from Cork and Limerick, and lies just north of the main N72 road, 15 km from Mallow and about 40 km from Killarney. Kanturk is within the Cork North-West Dáil constituency.

The 2006 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 120th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county hurling tournament, since its establishment in 1887. Barberstown Castle is a structure originally built in 1288 in Straffan, County Kildare, Ireland, 25 km west of Dublin. It has been operating as a hotel since 1971 and is surrounded by 20 acres (8.1 ha) of gardens. Renovations in 1996 revealed a previously undiscovered tunnel that links the castle to the nearby church in Straffan and is thought to have been used under the Penal Laws.

Féile na nGael is an annual tournament comprising the sports of hurling, camogie and handball organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association. Its stated aim is to bond communities, forge friendships, provide educational opportunities and unearth new leaders.

Réalt na Mara, Cromane, is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from the fishing village of Cromane, eight miles west of Killorglin in County Kerry, Ireland.

The National Camogie League, known for sponsorship reasons as the Very Ireland Camogie Leagues, is a competition in the Irish team sport of camogie, played exclusively by women. The competition is held in three divisions graded by ability. It was first played in 1976 for a trophy donated by Allied Irish Banks when Tipperary beat Wexford in a replayed final. Division Two was inaugurated in 1979 and won by Kildare.

The All-Ireland Minor Camogie Championship is a competition for under-18 teams in the women's field sport of camogie. Counties compete for the Síghle Nic an Ultaigh Cup. There are graded competitions at Minor B and Minor C level.

Therese Brophy is a camogie player from County Tipperary, Ireland. She won an All-Star award in 2004 and a Lynchpin award, predecessor of the All Star awards, in 2003. She was nominated again for an All Star in 2005.

The 2011 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 123rd staging of the All-Ireland championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1887. The draw for the 2011 fixtures took place on 7 October 2010. The championship began on 14 May and ended on 4 September 2011. Tipperary were the defending champions.

The Westmeath county hurling team represents Westmeath in hurling and is governed by Westmeath GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The team competes in the Joe McDonagh Cup and the National Hurling League.

The 2023 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 136th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county hurling tournament, since its establishment in 1887. The championship began in April 2023 and ended on 23 July 2023.

The 2022–23 All-Ireland Junior Club Football Championship was the 21st staging of the All-Ireland Junior Club Football Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association for the 2001–02 season. The draws for the respective provincial championships took place at various stages between June and September 2022. The championship ran from 22 October 2022 to 15 January 2023.

Lake County Hotel was a hotel in Mullingar, Westmeath, Ireland. In the 1970s, the hotel marketed itself as "Ireland's only twin ballroom dancing venue".
