KGWN-TV is a television station in Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States, affiliated with CBS and The CW Plus. The station is owned by Marquee Broadcasting, and maintains studios on East Lincolnway/East 14th Street/I-80 BUS/US 30 in Cheyenne; its transmitter is located in unincorporated Laramie County between I-80/US 30 and WYO 225.

Cheyenne East High School is a public high school located in Cheyenne, Wyoming with approximately 1,500 students enrolled in grades nine through twelve. It serves Laramie County School District #1. Students from East Triad schools attend East High School. All of the state's executive officers—the governor, secretary of state, auditor, treasurer, and superintendent of public instruction—were up for election. The Republican Party swept all of the offices. Following Democratic governor Lester C. Hunt's election to the U.S. Senate in 1948, Republican secretary of state Arthur G. Crane had been acting as governor. Republican Congressman Frank A. Barrett was elected governor, and Republican candidates won the other statewide races.
