This is a list of mass or spree killers in the Americas, excluding the United States that committed a familicide. A mass murderer is typically defined as someone who kills three or more people in one incident, with no "cooling off" period, not including themselves. The victims must have been largely the relatives of the perpetrator to be considered a familicide.
This list does not include serial killers, members of democidal governments, or major political figures who orchestrated such actions.

Aline Cristine Dorelli de Magalhães e Morais, known professionally as Alinne Moraes, is a Brazilian actress. She is best known by her roles as Maria Sílvia in Duas Caras and as Luciana in Viver a Vida.
A Grande Família is a Brazilian television sitcom created by Oduvaldo Vianna Filho and Armando Costa that originally aired on Rede Globo from 29 March 2001 to 11 September 2014. The show tells the story of a typical middle-class family living in a suburban neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro. It is a remake of the series of the same name that aired in Brazil in the 1970s.
Suzane Louise Magnani Muniz is a Brazilian woman who was convicted of murdering her parents on 31 October 2002 with the help of her boyfriend and his brother. She was put on trial in São Paulo in July 2006 and was sentenced to 39 years and 6 months in prison. She was released from prison on parole in 2023.
Alexandre Magno Abrão, known professionally as Chorão, was a Brazilian singer-songwriter, skateboarder, filmmaker, screenwriter and businessman. Best known for being a founding member and the vocalist/main lyricist of the influential rock band Charlie Brown Jr., Folha de S.Paulo critic André Barcinski considered him "the nearest thing to a punk hero Brazilian mainstream music ever had", and Eduardo Tristão Girão of Portal Uai called him "the bad boy of Brazilian rock" and "the spokesman of the youth of the 1990s". Having been born and raised for most of his childhood in São Paulo, Chorão was the only Charlie Brown Jr. member not to be a Santos native, and its only founding member to remain consistently in all of the group's line-ups.
Genildo Ferreira de França, known as Neguinho de Zé Ferreira, was a Brazilian spree killer who killed 14 people in and around Santo Antônio do Potengi, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil on May 21 and May 22, 1997. He was eventually cornered by police and committed suicide by shooting himself in the chest.

On the morning of Thursday, 5 October 2017, Damião Soares dos Santos, a night watchman at daycare Centro Municipal de Educação Infantil Gente Inocente in Janaúba, Minas Gerais, Brazil, invaded a classroom where dozens of children between the ages of 3 and 7 were taking part in normal school activities. Santos locked the door and doused fuel on several children, employees and himself. The resulting fire killed fourteen, including himself, ten children and three adults and wounded thirty-seven.

The Case Evaldo Rosa, also known as the Case of the 80 gunshots, refers to the homicide of musician Evaldo Rosa dos Santos and recyclable material collector Luciano Macedo, which occurred on April 7, 2019, in the city of Rio de Janeiro. At 2:40 pm (BRT), Evaldo was driving a Ford Ka with five occupants down Camboatá Road when Brazilian Army soldiers opened fire. Evaldo was shot and died on the spot. Passenger Sérgio Gonçalves was wounded and Luciano, who was passing by and tried to help, was also shot and died eleven days later. The occupants of the vehicle and witnesses stated that the soldiers started firing abruptly, from behind, without any previous signaling or warning, and did not stop firing even after the musician's pregnant wife and son left the car. According to the Judicial Military Police, the military fired 257 rifle shots. 62 pierced the car.

The murder of Durval Teófilo Filho took place on the night of 2 February 2022 in São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was shot by a neighbour as he arrived at the building where he lived. The shooter allegedly thought that Durval was a burglar.
