Madame Tussauds Singapore is a wax museum and tourist attraction at the Imbiah Lookout of Sentosa Island in Singapore. It officially opened on 25 October 2014 as the seventh Asian branch of the Madame Tussauds chain of wax attractions worldwide. [1] [2] [3]

Wax figures

The wax attraction features many wax figures of notable political icons, famous superstars, sports icons and others, including Yusof Ishak, Sukarno, Lee Kuan Yew, David Beckham, Sharukh Khan, Johnny Depp and Lady Gaga. In 2015, a figure of the Singapore Girl, an iconic flight attendant for Singapore Airlines, was added. The figure was modelled after flight attendant Nur Surya Binte, and is the second figure to be made of the icon. [4] A year later, the wax figure of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also added. [5]

Madame Tussauds Las Vegas is a wax museum located in the Las Vegas Strip at The Venetian Las Vegas casino resort in Paradise, Nevada. The attraction opened in 1999, becoming the first Madame Tussauds venue to open in the United States. It features over 100 wax figures of famous celebrities, film and TV characters, athletes, musicians and Marvel superheroes, as well a 4D movie theatre. Subsequent Madame Tussauds venues opened in the U.S in New York City in 2000, Washington D.C. in 2007, and Hollywood, California in 2009.

Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, is part of the renowned chain of wax museums founded by Marie Tussaud of France, is located at the Peak Tower on Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. It is the first Madame Tussauds museums in Asia, the other being the Shanghai branch, which opened in 2006 and the third branch at Bangkok which opened in 2010. The Hong Kong branch houses nearly 100 wax figures of internationally known personalities, with Asian figures taking up more than a third of the total, of which sixteen were Hong Kongers. The wax figures are featured in a range of themed settings such as Hong Kong Glamour, Music Icons, Historical and National Heroes, The Champions and World Premiere.

Marvel Super Heroes 4D is an animated 4D film that was launched at Madame Tussauds London on May 31, 2010. On April 26, 2012, an updated version of the film with a different plot was also opened at Madame Tussauds New York. On December 14, 2017, a version of the film was also opened at Madame Tussauds Singapore.

Madame Tussauds New York is a tourist attraction located on 42nd Street in the Times Square neighborhood of Midtown Manhattan in New York City.
