The House of Representatives is the lower house of the Ohio General Assembly, which is the state legislature of the U.S. state of Ohio. Every two years, all of the house seats come up for election. The 125th General Assembly was in session in 2003 and 2004. The party distribution was 63 Republicans and 36 Democrats.

He was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1977 to 1983, the Mayor of Akron from 1984 to 1986, a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1987 to 2003, and a member of the Ohio Senate from 2007 to 2016.
Larry Lee Householder is a former American politician who was convicted in the largest bribery corruption scandal in Ohio’s history. Mr. Householder was the state representative for Ohio's 72nd district and was a two-time Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives. He is a member of the Republican Party. Householder represented the same district from 1997 to 2004, including as speaker from 2001 to 2004. In 2016, he was elected to the Statehouse again, and on January 7, 2019, he was re-elected to serve as speaker with support from Ohio House Democrats, including current United States Congresswoman Emilia Sykes. His district included Coshocton and Perry counties, as well as about half of Licking County.
Robert Brian Gibbs is an American politician who served as the U.S. representative for Ohio's 7th congressional district from 2011 to 2023. He is a member of the Republican Party. In April 2022, Gibbs announced he was not seeking reelection.
The Ohio Board of Regents was created in 1963 by the Ohio General Assembly to: provide higher education policy advice to the Governor of Ohio and the Ohio General Assembly; develop a strategy involving Ohio's public and independent colleges and universities; advocate for and manage state funds for public colleges; and coordinate and implement state higher education policies. In 2015 the Ohio General Assembly renamed the office of the Board of Regents as the "Department of Higher Education."
William J. Seitz III is the state representative for the 30th district of the Ohio House of Representatives. He is a Republican. The district consists of Cheviot, Delhi Township, Green as well as portions of Cincinnati, in Hamilton County. Formerly, Seitz represented the same seat from 2001 to 2007. He served in the Ohio Senate from 2007 to 2016. He has also served as Majority Leader since 2017 serving under five different speakers and two interim speakers. After 24 years in the Ohio General Assembly, Seitz has decided to retire at the end of his term in 2024.

Robert Cole Sprague is an American politician serving as the 49th and current Ohio Treasurer of State. Prior to his election as treasurer, he represented the 83rd district in the Ohio House of Representatives, and served as city auditor and treasurer in his hometown of Findlay. He is a member of the Republican Party.

The One Hundred Thirtieth Ohio General Assembly was a meeting of the Ohio state legislature, composed of the Ohio State Senate and the Ohio House of Representatives. It convened in Columbus, Ohio on January 7, 2013 and adjourned December 30, 2014. This General Assembly coincided with the last two years of John Kasich's first term as Ohio Governor. The apportionment of legislative districts was based on the 2010 United States census and 2011 redistricting. Both the Ohio Senate and Ohio House of Representatives were retained by the Ohio Republican Party.
Sylvia Anjel Santana is an American politician and a Democratic member of the Michigan Senate, representing the 2nd district. She previously represented the 3rd district from 2019 to 2022. She also served in the Michigan House of Representatives from the 9th district from 2017 to 2019.
Tracy Richardson is an American politician who has served as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives representing the 86th district since 2019. A Republican, Richardson's district includes Union County and the majority of Marion County. A graduate of the United States Military Academy, Richardson served in Operation Desert Shield where she earned a Bronze Star. She currently serves in the Army National Guard. Prior to elected office, Richardson served as a human resources officer for a number of different companies. She also served on the Marysville City Council for nearly nine years.
William (Bill) Roemer is a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, since 2019, representing the 31st district. The district encompasses the majority of western and northern Summit county. A Republican, he is serving his third term in the House of Representatives.
The 2020 Ohio House of Representatives Election was held on November 3, 2020, with the primary election held on April 28, 2020. Ohio voters elected state representatives in the 99 Ohio House of Representatives districts. State representatives elected in 2020 will be eligible to serve a two-year term beginning January 2021 and ending December 2022. These elections will coincide with elections for U.S. President and the Ohio Senate.
