Woolen Mills Village Historic District is a historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 12, 2010. The district is in Albemarle County, Virginia and also in Charlottesville, Virginia.
McCoy Mill is a historic grist mill on U.S. Highway 220, three miles south of Franklin, Pendleton County, West Virginia. It was built in 1845, and has a late 19th- to early 20th-century addition. It replaced a mill that operated on the site as early as 1766. It is a 2½-story, T-shaped frame building. General William McCoy (1768-1835) owned an earlier mill on the site.
Burwell-Morgan Mill, also known as the Millwood Mill, is a historic grist mill located at Millwood, Clarke County, Virginia. It was built about 1785 by Gen. Daniel Morgan and Lt. Col. Nathaniel Burwell, who both served in the American Revolution. Burwell was the project's financier and Morgan managed the construction. The project overseer was L.H. Mongrul, whose initials and the date 1782 are carved in a stone in the mill's wall. The mill operated until the 1950s. In 1964 it was donated to the Clarke County Historical Association, which finished restoration in 1970 and operates the mill as a museum.

Notable buildings include the County Clerk's Office (1832), the Washington Tavern or Eagle House, the Arcade (1830s), Piedmont Episcopal Church (1832-1834), the Madison Presbyterian and Methodist churches (1852-1853), Hunton House Hotel, and the Linn Banks Masonic Lodge (1855).
The Franklin Falls Historic District is a 75-acre (30 ha) historic district encompassing most of the civic and industrial heart of Franklin, New Hampshire, which saw its most significant development in the second half of the 19th century and the first decades of the 20th. The district is focused on Central Street between two crossings of the Winnipesaukee River, and includes Odell Park along with industrial properties along the bend in the river north of those two crossings, as well as a number of properties on adjacent streets south of Central Street. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

It is roughly bounded by the Millstone, River, and Princeton-Kingston Roads in the townships of Princeton in Mercer County, South Brunswick in Middlesex County, and Franklin in Somerset County. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 10, 1986 for its significance in engineering, exploration/settlement, industry, and transportation. The district includes 16 contributing buildings and 2 contributing structures.
Franklin Corners is an unincorporated community located along the Passaic River at the intersection of County Route 613 and U.S. Route 202 in Bernards Township of Somerset County, New Jersey. In the 19th century, it had a grist mill, saw mill, general store, school, and several houses. The Franklin Corners Historic District, featuring Van Dorn's Mill, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
